it doesn't bother me. Makes sense for what the sybiote is.

Yeah, this makes me think of when I saw Man of Steel in theaters. After the movie was over, some people seemed to be pretty disappointed because what they were used to was Christopher Reeve’s Superman for so long being pretty light-hearted and not centralizing around many dark themes, maybe the one exception being when he flips out because Lois dies and then turns back time by spinning the Earth backwards. (I never did like that ending lol)

So Man of Steel comes along and shows a somewhat different side of Superman sometimes a lot more realistically, so to speak I.e. Struggling to adapt in the early years and then basically being ostracized by society, and then the boiling point being conflicted about killing Zod because he’s literally the last (well, probably) Kryptonian besides Supes.

Also let me say that I wasn’t a huge fan of Man of Steel but I did appreciate seeing a Superman origin story that was a lot darker than I had seen before.

I never really got into comic books but I’m sure there’s some universes and story arcs involving Superman that aren’t all Boy Scout/American Way heavy but I lack the knowledge to draw a parallel there.

Sorry I rambled so much but your guys’ comments sparked this in my brain.

Last thing, I didn’t do spoiler tags because those movies are 42 and 8 years old respectively, but sorry if that pisses anyone off.

And something that actually has to do with this thread. I didn’t see the Tom Hardy Venom.

in regards to Venom, from a simple biology standpoint, you have a creature with teeth like that, it is very much a predator who eats things smaller than it...thus biting off heads.

Im not arguing if a symbiot is capable because its a type of virus that looks for a host. My thing is its strange to me because in all the previous depictions of venom I have never seen him go around being starved to eat humans or other living animals. To me its like someone making a batman movie where he shoots lasers from his eyes or using teleportation. You can spin it that he is a rich genius so he could figure it out but its just odd to me.

Venom Forced His Host(s) To Eat People

Anyone who bonds with the Venom symbiote will suddenly find human flesh on the menu. When Venom bonds with Mac Gargan, AKA the Scorpion, he succumbs to the symbiote's brutality. Back during Venom's introduction, the symbiote made several comments about eating human brains, but Brock was able to keep this disturbing trait at bay.
Gargan is not so fortunate, however, which is why his run as Venom is one of the grossest and most horrifying of them all. He continuously eats the brains (and bodies) of his victims, which is essentially cannibalism.

better relationship between Brock and the Symbiote as well...will make for better dialog.

wonder if there will be a Spiderman tease in this one...when do those universes collide?

There’s a shot or two of someone reading the Daily Bugle, so probably soon.

well I guess we know they are in the same universe because Spidey is mentioned in the first movie.

this will come out before the next Spiderman movie, right? While Peter is being framed for Mysterio's death and they are teasing the multiverse?

They will certainly collide at some point - Spidey & Venom... It's fate right?

Doesn't seem like the right movie to do it unless its some sort of resolution type teaser... The Venom brand still needs some building. And if thats the case then almost assuredly the producers are going to keep it quiet until they have the right time to tease it & skyrocket their media exposure.

without Spidey there is no Venom

I can see it being an after credits thing
