It was a joke. You're taking it too seriously.

Either way you want to take it, it does work for me (or anyone else) to come here and say basically whatever they want. It isn't "your thread". You don't somehow own it just because you started it.

Again, it was a joke. I'm sure you can differentiate between that and an "attack" if you want to.

Tell ya what let's do whatever you want, you are now in charge, so where do want this to go, well?

Winning superbowls is a team thing , look at Bradshaws numbers, he sucked but.....won four SB.

Bottom line, Wilson has the best numbers of any QB ever in his first nine seasons. Notice 21 pages and nobody can.........look at these numbers they are better than Wilson's. The reason.....it can't be done.

Who can give me a QB with better numbers than Russell WIlson in those first nine seasons?

Well?
Again you want to penalize guys who were on bench, or injured. Common sense would be say their first 100 games started etc. Again I love Wilson , always said that if Brady wasn't the Pats QB, I would want Russell. Kudos to Pete for starting Wilson over Flynn, after they signed him to a huge contract

Looking at Brady & Wilson's career numbers I've come to this conclusion. What Wilson has done is unmatched. When he's done playing there's a spot in Canton waiting for him.

Brady's first nine years are more impressive than Wilson's because of those shiny rings. But he can live this down.

Trent Dilfer won a Suprbowl, he's more imprssive than Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly won own zero reings?

I can name a QB that had more pro bowl selections his first nine seasons. But other than that what Wilson's done his first nine season no QB has done.

Nobody is or has said otherwise. But Wilson's first nine seasons doesn't make him the greatest QB of all time. I wouldn't put him on my Mount Rushmore of QB's. And I would have him in my top 5. But that doesn't take anything away from his career. He's a damn good QB. But there are better ones.

The thing that seperates Wilson from everybody else is the combination of ....

walking right in taking over
has yet to miss a game
SB win...................................................................................................................that close to winning two
only 4000/30/500 season in history, done it twice, 15 yards of doing it three times
pro bowls
ranked number 2 by the players
tied rookie td record
second highest passer rating in history for QB's with nine seasons or more
over 4000 rushing yards
most wins in nine seasons

Nobody compares to that, nobody!!!!

Lol @ the "in charge" nonsense.

You really want my take?

Stats tell a story but are not the end all of analysis when you want to talk greatest of all time.

Again, I am a Seahawk's fan, and a Wilson fan. There is no denying his accomplishments and numbers. To be clear: I fully support your take that his first 9 seasons are statistically superior than any other QB in history.
........but I don't feel that necessarily makes him the greatest QB of all time.
If the remainder of his career plays out like his first 9 years then we can start that specific conversation.

My personal opinion is that I feel that Joe Montana is the best QB I have ever seen play. I think he is better than Brady. It doesn't have to do with stats, but more with execution, leadership, and "unflappability" (is that even a word?)

Just talking first nine seasons, we don't know anything more than that right now. Does Wilson have the potential to be among the top 4ish ever, hmmmm?

Give this guy a big BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......great take and I am pretty much with you, way too early to compare Wilson to Montana/Brady. That is why I;m just talking those first nine seasons, we can compare that and it is all Russell Wilson.

Brady played in 31 less games, less pro bowls, inferior TD/INT, inferior passer rating. What are you looking at? What did Brady do better, well?

I could do the same thing I did when I compared 2021 QB avgs with 1981 QB avgs and compare Brady's first 9 years averages (01-09) with Wilson's (12-20).

They're totally different eras due to recent rule changes. But I have stuff to do. Maybe later. I see that you're not going anywhere.

You really are crazy.

Not crazy at all, wining Superbowls is a team thing, hell Jim McMahan, Trent Dilfer, won superbowls, they wouldn't make a zit on the butt of Dan Marino who didn't.

Nobody knows how his career will end. But it's like you think because of the success he had his first nine seasons that automatically means that same success will continue. Why are you so sure that will happen? Do you have a crystal ball, can you see into the future?

Stop that nonsense. Players like McMahon & Dilfer weren't on Marino's level as a player. He's an all time great. Those two QB's were in the right place at the right time. Their careers are incomparable. Marino's in the HOF. The only way those two get in is if they buy a ticket.

He's still stoned from Woodstock, heavy duty LSD or something
I always knew that acid fucks yer head up. Damn that Timothy Leary!

Wilson, more starts, more wins, superior stats, what more is there?

Ignoring that is the problem.

Six months back in 1969 was my LSD period, then here came boot camp and that was that. Still see trails every once in awhile, also smell that occasional orange. Orange Waffer ya understand.

Hey, as a Seahawk's fan I'm glad there are people out there that respect Wilson for his accomplishments. He has had a great career so far.

........but 21 pages........?!?
Don't get too excited, Anthony Schwartz is up to 43...
