We are gathered here today to show our deepest respect to the nowhere to be found in this thread, got his tucas handed to this book smart , known to all as the swami of the board, T-lance!

the Knicks 30+ games in, challenged roster , coach who holds his players accountable...

Top 8 half way through. Who the heck would be stupid enough to think this could ever be possible.

in lieu of flowers, please donate to the T -lance , “ you’re stupid I’m not” foundation.

What are you talking about?

There are about 3 good teams and 4 more decent ones.

Everyone else is very mediocre.

So congrats on being the tallest midget. At least for now.

how can you be this blind?

the “3” has leveled the playing field in the NBA...

Has nothing to do with mediocre team nonsense...

Knicks will be out of the running towards end...

the lakers, nets would be annihilating teams throughout if they played the game the way it used to be played.

Still below .500. Improvement, but not impressive yet. At least the Heat will pass them, leaving them competing for the 8th seed at best IMO.

Wrong again.

Lots of mediocre teams in the East.

And the Nets need current style as much as anybody. The way the game used to be played has been proven definitely to be less efficient.

I'll be the first to admit that the Knicks are performing above my expectations, even with Thibs as the new coach.

This still does not mean they are good. And I still stand by my warning about Thibs playing too short a rotation and burning out players by the end of the year, which is too early to see yet. But from what I have heard, the players sound happier than any previous Thibs' team I can recall. Has he learned something or is it still the honeymoon period?

Brooklyn is 2nd in 3 point percentage and 4th in Makes. Their entire offense revolves around spacing to allow their stars room to attack off the dribble. Without spacing, their guys don’t get to the rim nearly as often. They are also very weak defensively in the paint.

Yes, they need the 3.

Dude, if the Knicks were not slappin down on D, they would be performing exactly the way they did under fizzdales watch!

either you don’t get this, or you just don’t want to give me the credit I deserve, as this is all I have been posting about the last 3 years.

as far as the rest, an abbreviated season may be why the players are happier w/thibs.

Oh I get, but you don't deserve credit as you have been all over the place the last 3 years. Sure, you throw a ton of shit at the wall something is gonna stick.

Are these even the same players Fisdale coached? Comparing apples and oranges. And once again, no one has disagreed that Thibs is better than Fiz.

I'm glad you are happy with your team's progress; but, good god, do they need some help on offense.

False.

It is easy to guard 1 shooter.

Impossible to guard 4 surrounding a playmaker. There is nobody to help off of. That is why the Nets offense is so dynamic. You can’t double any of their stars without paying the price.

And their stars are all shooters too.

I lost you a long time before that. You should really attempt to learn a little about the game if you are going to post here.

The game has evolved since 50 years ago when you played it.

The game today has evolved into a freek show.

there hardly is any strategy involved.

You don’t even have to be as well conditioned.

I’m truly blessed to have seen the game played when there were real rivalries. A real desire to win. Players playing through injury.

Coaches, who had added to the game with personality.
