Keep those fines coming (although maybe they should be multiplied by a factor of 10)

Mooger making sure he had plenty of propane for his BBQ soiree :D

The Saanich Police Department has arrested a man after he was spotted hauling several stolen propane tanks along Tillicum Road.

In a police report issued on Tuesday, officers said that the incident took place on January 5 at around 4:40 a.m.

Police note that they were patrolling the area of Tillicum Road and Burnside Road West when a man was seen pushing a bicycle and towing a trailer filled with five large propane gas tanks.

Saanich PD says that when the man spotted police officers, he dropped his bicycle and ran away.

Shit. They caught me....

Stole icbc money and gave it all to bclc ... seems like a wash lol

aptly named guy : Punter!

Bank records also showed numerous purchases through playnow.com, which is the sports betting site owned by the British Columbia Lottery Corp., said Campbell.

Transaction amounts ranged from $100 to $2,000. In August 2018 alone, according to the statement of facts, Punter spent $52,570 on playnow.com.

Money stolen from his employer all went to fund Punter’s gambling addiction, rather than an extravagant lifestyle, according to information read in court.

Kind of funny he got busted by his bank.
Also, you can electronically deposit third party cheques?

Yah i dont know what the hell thats about ... but Im guessing TD had a major problem in the app / cheque clearing controls since ICBC is saying they recovered almost all the money back (from TD i reckon) and guilty dude has to pay back all the funds he stole ... to TD

Last couple of days have been very nice on the island. Of course, it's not going to last and there's a chance of snow at the end of the month.
Yeah it's showing the temps dipping near the end of next week but I can live with a few days of that.

I know it sounds dumb but even the cold here doesn't really feel cold - that week or so in December that culminated with the snowfall had a few days with highs of 1 or 2 and I still didn't have to change my sweater + fall jacket getup. 1 or 2 degrees in Toronto with the windchill is miserable.

Even when I went snowshoeing at Callaghan last weekend it was -5 when we got there at 8 am but really, really didn't feel -5 & I was sweating about 5 minutes into the hike.

You ever been to the sunken garden or whatever it’s called at Butchart Gardens after a fresh snow? It’s amazing. NHL should consider it a location for its next summer/fall classic.

I don't know, too many flower petals on the ice could cause some issues...

Dont remember if this was posted here. Its from october.

On that day, Global was down doing a story on the weather and talked to some of the kitesurfers and in a very random jerome-iginla-on-a-boston-street fashion, they identified one of the kitesurfers as sean millington lol ... yah that sean millington. No mention of his cfl career. Just said “sean millington - kiteboarder”

anyhow sean will be showing off his moves in a future episode of the nature of things
