I've long felt that Frank Reich had more to do with that Eagles Super Bowl than Doug Pederson. I feel so justified today.

Makes sense. Pederson's Super Bowl victory was on the back of his great assistant coaches, not him. And Pederson also completely lost respect from his players.

It's ripping the Band-Aid off for sure, but this is the correct move by Philly.

Honestly I think Doug wanted out. Just from reading some articles that his interview last week went horrible. He wanted to promote Press Taylor to OC and some other moves were just mindboggling. He will get a new HC almost immediately. Possibly the Jets to reunite with Joe Douglas?
