But they played the game at the highest level and understand NBA basketball. This chick didn't

So the bottom line position you are taking is women should never coach in the NBA (since none have ever played in it). Sounds like what is between their legs does matter when it comes to coaching. So another lie by you above, when you claimed it didn't matter.

You are also taking the position that no one who didn't play "at the highest level" should be coaches either. Someone better tell Popovich and Auerbach and Spoelstra and Stevens and....

You can’t answer my question because you are full of shit.
I did answer your question; irrelevant to the topic as it was.

Ha ha! I am one of the cornerstones of this board. My topics always provoke profound thought. It makes the PC culture who blindly accept what they are told in school think about what life is really like

Yes we've seen your Trumpy/Baghdad Bob act too, just confidently declare some bullshit like it's true. No one falls for it.

No, you most definitely did not.

Why are men qualified to coach women if the game is so different?

Because I crack up at some of your illogical responses. You only get that way when you are mad. Otherwise you seem like a relatively intelligent person

You've never, ever seen me mad. Why would I be mad, clowning you is one of the reasons I come here. Never understood anyone who gets mad on a message board. If it makes you mad, just stop posting.

That's quite a leap from what I said. if she had coached men at the high school level or college level extensively and successfully I would not have a problem with it At least give me someone like Tara Van der Veer or Pat Summit

Actually that directly follows from what you said.

Did Van der Veer or Summit coach men?

I presume you also have a problem with male NBA coaches who get hired at that level, who never coached at the high school or college level?

Its easier to take a step down than a step up. We'll again use the plumber/ brain surgeon analogy and see if you can grasp it yet. A brain surgeon could reasonably be expected to be able to do plumbing work however a plumber cannot be expected to know brain surgery.

Keep telling yourself that Cletus, eventually you might get yourself to believe it. I've sent you home twitching mad on many an occasion with your tail between your legs.

No, but at least they have a long history of success at the college level. The chick with the Spurs never even coached city league ball as far as I can tell
I do think its chancy to give an NBA player with no experience a coaching job but at least you know they played in the league

Adorable.

I've been clowning you expertly for years, you would think you'd have realized by now how little your pathetic bleatings affect me, or anyone here.

What? What does that even mean? I did vote for the guy but that was only because I did not want the candidate of the mobs in Portland, Seattle and such to win.

And you are a complete idiot if you think the difference between coaching men and women is the difference between plumbing and brain surgery.

High school and college teams, both men and women run NBA sets all the time. It isn’t the knowledge that makes an NBA coach successful as much as it is feel and ability to relate to players.

I would think Hammon would be a lot more likely to relate than a 70 year old woman.

So to sum up, ok to hire a man who played in the NBA with no coaching experience, not ok to hire a woman who played at the highest level for women.

So I was correct, to you it does matter what's between your legs, since women are not allowed to play in the NBA they can only coach in the NBA if they first coach men at the high school and college level. Men do not have that same restriction. Your position is clear.

LOL you don't even understand plumbing. It's actually a pretty specialized skill and no, brain surgeons could not be expected to do plumbing work. I would never hire a brain surgeon to do my plumbing.

So he's just a racist fuck. Just what I figured. Wonder if he puts on his white robe, duct tapes his confederate flag to his rusty truck and drives around yelling at people that don't share his special views?

Nah, he just trolls here.

I know this answer! He thinks you're angry because you don't agree with what he has to say.
It's more that he pulls that lame troll move out whenever he's getting clowned. The old "u mad?" bit, very hacky but that's his m.o. Sometimes he does that other hacky bit where he pretends not to understand sarcasm.

And she never coached any of them. Does this finally end this discussion? Someone needs to take the shovel away from you because you just keep digging yourself in deeper by making my points for me.
