I accept it. It is today's measuring stick while at the same time football is the ultimate team game. You only need one guy to screw up to ruin a play ... on either side of the ball.

When Cousin's career is over he will go down stat wise as a top 50 and maybe top 40 QB. He is also Matthew Stafford or many others. When he is hot which is more often than not he is a force, when he isn't hot he can be really bad.

I think Cousin's can be summed up like he last game against Tampa. The kicker misses 7 points. Cousin's gets sacked twice while inside the 20. Missed opportunities. He throws a helluva a deep ball and is pretty accurate though. :D

Next question, how can Smith play mediocre at best and win at a .667 clip? I know the answer to the last game, D scored 14.

Great assessment on Cousins. Now to giving it my best shot to answer your question about Smith. He can't continue this kind of mediocre play and end up with a .667 clip. I enjoy listening to D'Angelo Hall's commentary after every play on the Washington Radio Network while I watch the game with the sound turned off. In our first offensive series of the SF game Hall said "Something doesn't look right with Alex, something is bothering him because he just doesn't look comfortable." As the game progressed Hall said "Alex is moving his feet way too much in the pocket when he doesn't have to which tells me something is not comfortable to him." I thought Hall made some good insight to what I was seeing on the screen even though I don't know what all of this means UNLESS Alex wants to play so badly to prove to himself that he can that he was hiding some kind of discomfort before this game even started. I know this does not excuse Alex from his mediocre play in previous games but the dude has been a winner for us as a starter since he arrived with his high football IQ and game management and I want us to ride that horse as long as we can until our coaches decide otherwise.

I have no issue with a healthy CDC at qb . I would give DH all the first team reps this week and if CDC can play Sunday start CDC . That way if DH has to play he won’t be as rusty

I second that motion as long as Alex gets one day of first team reps late in the week.
