This is not on Haskins, though that int was bad.

The WTF’s are at least a year away. They need more on offense, and they cant afford injuries to gibby, and their starting lb’s.

Additionally, this is why you dont give up on haskins. He wasnt the problem in this game and he made enough plays to win the game.
If the pass hits you in the hands, then you probably should be able to catch it.

Missed extra points are not really ever acceptable. Hopkins needs competition.

I'll agree with this. Haskins wasn't great, but he's not why we lost. Give him more playing time.

The reason he had to checkdown so much is because the WTF’s have exactly one downfield option that is consistently open.

He clearly cant see the whole field yet, but you cant fault Haskins for pass catchers dropping passes that hit them in the hands, and also not being able to consistently create separation.

If we play the seahawks in the playoffs with gibby back and the lb’s, I think the WTF’s have a good chance to beat them.

Oh, I think we could absolutely beat the Seahawks.

I told you guys after it went to 20-3 that Haskins stats would go up from here on out. He did get better but once it became for real he was sacked twice. Not blaming him for that sack because Moses got freight trained. Not sure who we see next week. I'd am 65-35 it will be Haskin's again.

They are getting the same from Smith. Lousy 1st halfs followed by better second half's when the WTF get down 10.

I don't think McLaurin was open a lot early. Thomas was a beast.

He wasnt open because he’s the only downfield receiving threat the WTF’s have.
Thomas and McKissick are great and all that, but without another downfield treat, its in opponent’s best interest to double terry mac and have the WTF’s dink and dunk their way down the field.

Add to that the lack of a viable running game - something that has been lacking since gibby went down - opponents are doing to give the WFT the underneath stuff all day, dare the qb of the WTF to consistently sustain 10+ play drives up the field, and tighten up in the red zone.

Alex Smith can do that more cinsistently than DH can, and thus he has found some success.

DH got a lot of his stats today as Cousins used to do - in garbage time.
