Fins will need to find a way to bounce back in this one.

The Fins improved run defense was a good sign going into this game. Their is a lot more game tape of Newton and the offense. That will help in preparing.

The Fins will need to overcome injuries to their top playmakers. The Fins have good coaching and depth. They will need it to get the W.

They literally just have to stop the run and they'll win. Hopefully most of the players are ok especially Parker and Gesicki.

Dolphins really need W in this one. A W mostly knocks out Pats of playoff, which would be sweet. Baltimore really have a clear path to 3 more wins with there schedule, so will need Fins to win out or hope Ravens stub their toe somewhere or Indy and/or Browns lose two more. Of all teams in AFC that are fitting for the last 2-3 spots, Miami seems to have toughest schedule.

The playoffs really start this week for the Fins.

Bowden Jr. looks like he is capable of claiming the slot receiver position. That has been a need on this team. That could help with the injuries the team is dealing with at WR.

Gesicki is a tough loss and a unique talent. However the Fins have depth at TE.

I expect a physical game as both teams are playing for their seasons. The Fins have the better team but they will need to show it on the field.

Shaheen has been solid, but I wonder if he can carrier the load if Gesicki is out for a significant amount of time.

I assume that you're the knowledgeable OP that started this thread?

The Dolphins are the home team, therefore the Thread Title should be..............New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins.

For the first time in the last 12 years, the Dolphins have a winning record and you think what? That calling the Patriots Cheatriots is a big deal? For the first time in 12 years, the patriots are not AFCE Division Champions..................and neither are the Dolphins. If the Dolphins lose Sunday, they'll have lost to a lousy patriots team twice this year.

IF, he Dolphins make the playoffs, you'll be the Chiefs or Steelers bitch in the first round.

BigKen,

Face it. The Pats are just starting a rebuild. It will be years before the team is competitive again in the AFC East. The Bills or Fins will win the division. You might want to give your obnoxious posts a break. The Pats could get eliminated from contention on Sunday. The Fins are way ahead of schedule and will be even better next year.

The Fins are getting a few guys back off of injury for the game. Van Noy had a huge game a few weeks ago. He's practicing now along with Roberts.

The Fins have been much better at stopping the run as the season has progressed. The Dline and LBs deserve a lot of credit for that. Good teams with good coaches tend to improve as the season goes along.

On offense Breida is back. This would be a good game for him to show his speed with some long runs.

Tua can take another step up in his career by playing well and beating the Pats. He and the rest of the offense played well last week even with three of the top targets out in the second half.

Both Smythe and Shaheen have made plays for the team. Gesicki's speed and ability to make contested catches make him a special talent that would be missed if he can't play. That said, good catches and good teams still find ways to win when one of their top players is out.

Gesicki was limited in practice and is listed as questionable.

Parker is expected to play vs. the Pats. Last year against them he was unstoppable. His issue has never been talent. It's his health. If he's healthy enough he could make an impact.

Just end 2020 will you Dolphins. Knock the Patriots out and hopefully let Stidham start the rest of the season.

Harris is out. Newton has slowed down considerably and we all know he can't throw. Sony Michel hopefully steps up and the Pats get a few bounces here and there and win.

Enjoy the game folks. Yes. Even you OP

Devante Parker, Jakeem Grant, Chandler Cox, Jason Strowbridge, Ereck Flowers , Mike Gesicki all inactive today. But, if our QB is as advertised -- he should be able to overcome this. No excuses.

On a different note, the Bills clinch the division last night - so, it now it is down to the last three games to try to clinch a wildcard spot.

The Fins can still win. It will take a team effort with other guys stepping up and making plays not just Tua. Although Tua is capable of elevating others with his play.

Tua alone can beat the Patriots... Patriots must remain in their lanes and not bite on any fake.. Otherwise it will be a long day
