Again, there is no evidence as such except for individual observation. I understand the sentiment and would be open to results proving it but they are not out there yet.

A couple of points:
*You want me to acknowledge that marijuana provides stress relief but you have yet to acknowledge my point that smoking marijuana damages the lung cilia and bronchus and therefore inhibits oxygen transfer into the body, and is an actual physically measurable detriment to physical activity.
*While marijuana is a stress reliever and therefore might help in terms of concentration, the people I knew didn't exactly use it controlled manner. I propose that in smaller quantities that it can quite possibly help in the aforementioned areas but in larger quantities it would have the opposite effect. Again, no proof one way or the other yet.

It seems to becoming an accepted substance by almost all athletic governing bodies so the trend seems to be that it is being viewed as a standard dietary substance that can help with injury recover (cbds are known anti-inflammatories) and any physical enhancement is moreso along the lines of electrolyte or protein drink.

I don't deny that it is a stress reliever but beyond that there is only anecdotal evidence that is a performance enhancer, and my point is that there is actual documented evidence that smoking it inhibits absorption of oxygen. Not "down the line", but at the time of usage.

Again, athletic governing bodies are largely moving for use to be acceptable. Why is that? It is deemed to be helpful in injury recovery (inhibits inflammation), and that it isn't a physical enhancer in any way.

Regardless, I am just repeating myself at this point so I will tap out. I would like you to consider that maybe it is your pride that is the issue here and not pot. If you really feel that it would have made a significant difference in your professional career then maybe you should have considered using it. Otherwise it just comes off as an excuse.

I see you’re a fan of Ohio teams , don’t know if your from the state, but, ain’t it funny . I was drafted by the reds. Scout here in my home town told my folks I’d never be drafted as a SS , stay pitching. Went to college after turning down first draft. Guess who drafted me in college as
SS , reds scout in fla Named George Zaraw! One of the nicest , scout, man you could ever meet.

No, I suffered and still do from anxiety. No blame or regrets, but it was my folks that would not admit there was an issue and did nothing to get me help. Those were the days!

The incredible thing is all that I did accomplish so much in suffering. God only knows how far I could have gone had I gotten the proper help. And that is what I tell kids today.
