who threw punches? I hope nobody did with Columbo. He is supposedly one bad dude. I think he was a big time boxer as a kid or something. I remember him getting pissed at Bobby Carpenter in practice one day and threatening to whip the shit of him.
Nobody needs a hot head like him on the team.

Not very smart to punch the head coach.
Not very professional of Judge to bring in someone to look over Columbo’s shoulder. If you don’t like the employees under you be man enough to let them go don’t try to micro manage them. Its the Giants so screw them but I would take Columbo or Bill Callahan back in Dallas anytime they want to come.

I would take Columbo but I think Callahan is to much of a retread for me now.

Columbo needs anger management. The guy is a loose cannon.

Could be but maybe Judge stepped over the line with something he said maybe he did not. I don’t pretend to know. Like we say on the politics page let’s wait for the whole story to come out.

Judge is the head coach and Colombo was just an assistant coach. The ability to take orders from your boss is a good trait. I wouldn't want an employee like Colombo.

I understand your position but I would like more facts about what it was that set Columbo off. I agree you should be able to take orders from your Boss that you may not like. However certain lines cannot be crossed even by the Boss. I am really curious what was said to make Columbo turn to violence? I am not condoning what Mark did just wanting to know what set him off.

I'd take Callahan. Is he out of a job? Pass on Columbo. I think he was better as the asst OL coach than OL coach. Kind of like how I feel about Lett
I'd take Callahan in a heartbeat. The man is as good an offensive line coach as there is in the NFL. Of course, there isn't a chance he would come back here after his previous adventures with Jerry...

I don't care what set him off. If one of my employees tried this with me he would be terminated immediately. There is no place for insubordination in a work setting. I tell all of my employees to talk with me if there is an issue. Evidently, Columbo went off the wall.

I agree Robin, Callahan is an excellent OL coach and great teacher.

We don’t know what happened as the Giants are denying any physical altercation happened. I have ran several and owned 2 different businesses, I agree a employee that went to physical violence should be fired. But I also want to know what led up and possibly caused said violence. Lots can be learned so hopefully the situation is never repeated. That’s my take anyway.

Could be the Kentucky Owl Confiscated Bourbon talking, but I predict IF and yes this is a big if...If the Cowboys win this week they will win the Division. I know we suck but our schedule is pretty easy other than the Ravens for the rest of the year and it's not like anyone in our division is any good

I get that this was a bizarre offseason and especially for rookies. I get that there were no preseason games, less practices, less contact, no rookie camp and less instructional sessions. But can someone explain to me how it was possible that Gallimore was almost never talked about before the season and never even got on the field much until Hill went down? Hill is horrible, not average, not serviceable, but horrible and Poe wasn't really any better. I'm not saying playing Gallimore would have made a difference in any of our games but it doesn't take an NFL scout to see he should have been playing a little more if not a lot more. I was so glad to see him make some plays when he got the chance because I assumed the fact that he seemed like an afterthought to the team meant he was showing nothing and even that they may have regretted drafting him. I think he has a chance to be a good player.

So you'd be happy making the playoffs with a losing record?

I do like to talk draft. It too bad Derek Stingley Jr is not eligible until 2022... without a doubt this kid way better than any corner available in 2021 draft.

Remember when Jerry "stupidly" said Mo Claiborne was the best corner prospect since Deion? Well this Stingley kid fits this description much better than Claiborne.. he got it all, speed, awareness, elite body control and the ball skills

Hopefully the Giants implode and have more turmoil. Garrot could be the next coach to be axed

Of course and I'd cut any player that didn't feel the same way and have no use for a fan that thinks otherwise.
