Because if you, or just likes Eagles as in a Bald Eagle, or a combination of both. Many kids take a team due to the teams mascot, granted a good number of those kids will change allegiances when they understand more, but there's no reason to fault those who stuck with their first team.

I don't know why he does, probably because I do, but he likes green, and likes the logo. I don't push him to like anyone. He likes to throw the football, which is what I think drew him to wanting to watch it.

It's most likely because you like them too, but with youngsters it's not home loyalty that draws them, it's something more personal.

By the way cherish these years with your son, they grow up fast, and like a box of chocolate's you never know what you got.

opinions vary big time here. Sorry I can't support your opinion at all.

Sure the draft on paper looks good. It's a toss up with regards to FA when you loss a top 10 corner and your best pass rusher from a year ago, replace them with a couple of draft picks and a guy who hasn't played in 5 years. If this defense is better it will be coaching. Dallas ran the most predictable defense in football, as many have said and McCarthy hired the coaches. Any improvement there will be McCarthy decisions.

You pump up Rodgers with no regards to the many QB's who have said McCarthy is a great QB coach and helped them greatly in understanding the position. You should educate yourself before hanging you hat on the opinion of perhaps the biggest ego this game has ever seen.

I'll at least say it's to be determined with the results on the field. I've only seen here eagle & redskin fans with the opinion McCarthy isn't any good without even a season played. You seem so sure of yourself with regards to Rivera being a great coach while McCarthy doesn't belong in the league. That opinion at this time is a bias one at best, full of typical NFC east fan hate for all things Dallas. Pretty funny you think I should be the one to think again on the topic. Typical hater.

I wanted to bump this thread to point out a few posts. Tried to explain how Mike McCarthy was a product of Aaron Rodger. You pretty much called me an idiot, who looks like the idiot now?

For the record I never said Ron Rivera was a great coach, just a solid choice and certainly better than Mike McCarthy.

Looks like Shannon Sharpe new what he was talking about... Skip Bayless is just a Cowboy homer...
Yes, we all know what a hopeless homer Bayless is.

We could probably lay this notion to rest, I think. As soon as Dak went down they had no chance but they were never winning anything with that D and MM at the helm, imo.

Yep, losing Dak was the final nail in the coffin.

Their defense isn't as bad as it has looked......the problem is Nolan as the DC.....

It also would have helped if they had used the pick on Lamb on the defensive side. They really didn't NEED him on that offense.....
