I don't think he does during the season. At least not unless the team totally quits on him after the bye week.

The Wilfs just extended both Zimmer and GM Spielman for 3 more years. I don't think that they want to take that kind of financial hit. They could, but it would essentially be lighting money on fire and still paying another guy.

Their biggest mistake was giving Cousins that huge contract. I don't think there's a defense in the NFL that fears Kirk Cousins.

That was on Spielman. The contract itself wasn't bad because it was done after this year. Extending him for an additional 2 years was the real crime. It was for salary cap purposes, on a team that shouldn't need to do that move.

If we could be done with Kirk after the 3 year trial, I would have been fine with a failed experiment. You move on from your mistakes, you don't double down on them.

Looking at the Vikings schedule, how bad does this thing really get? GB next week, there's 1-6, Detroit is actually playing good football, possibly 1-7, a visit to Soldier Field, potentially 1-8, maybe their next win comes against Dallas? Oof.

Is this style of offense sustainable for San Fran or is this a temp bandaid til Jimmy G is fully 100%? Jimmy is releasing the ball quicker so plays don't have the time to develop.
