Cowboys Versus Browns

The defense is too complex for the environment we are in with no preseason. His message on ball security not getting through. Turnovers will kill you ok the NFL. Momentum changed after our first turnover.

I'm talking football 101. No pass rush, not tackling, not blocking etc.

No matter how they are coached the players have to make the plays. Bottom line. Not saying they are not poorly coached or poorly disciplined but they have to carry out assignments.

I fully agree. But When Parcells came in he took a terrible Campo team and made it a playoff team with Quincy Carter at QB for crying out loud.
Almost all tthe coaches are New. A major turn over in players. I saw Cooper quit on a critical end of game play, We handle ball security like we are making it rain at a strip club. Defense has no answer to the effing run and has not for several years. Other than Alton Smith and Bell our off season signings are not contributing. Where Is Poe Griffin and other than a rookie Diggs who gets a pass because he is a rookie we have a terrible secondary, non existent linebacker play and I doubt we could sack Joe Namath at his current age.

Right now I am not sure the Cowboys could beat the Jets!

Funny you brought up the Jets. If I was a gambler - I would have bet the house on them on Thursday. As I was watching them , I thought this team is pathetic Then I thought back to last year and remember them beating us.

Dak played fantastic. If it takes perfect QB play to beat the Browns we are headed for 3-13.
This defense is horrible. IMO, Earl Thomas and Snacks Harrison should be signed tonight. Our secondary and run defense are an absolute joke. This team simply isn't built to win. football games. We should use the pass to get the lead and then pound the rock to Zeke for 25 carries. That can't happen when the Browns are hanging half a hundred on you. Not sure what the answer is. Dak is making his case to get top QB money, but how do you make that move knowing it will mean even less talent for a 1-3 team. I just don't know

We will get video game numbers on offense when we are constantly playing from behind and down multiple scores against the prevent. -7 and dead last in turnover differential is a killer. Dak has 5 turnovers this year and I am sure he would tell you he has to do better in that regard. If you don’t think this game turned after the back to back fumbles by Dak and Zeke then I don’t know what to tell you.

Look I love Dak I don’t think he is worth the money. Right now it looks like a major rebuild needs done.

Until the current staff shows that they are remotely competent with the team they picked. QB play is least of my Concerns right now. QB money is however and I would not pay Dak. The defense is in shambles and they are worse than last year. Again our Free agent pickups are worthless except Alton Smith. The Cowboys need to change some philosophy and get some tackles that can play along with some LB’s and secondary that is on the owners and current staff.
Right now they just suck no nice way to put it.
As to Mike McCarthy he looks worse than Dave Campo and I did not think that was possible. Jerry did you miss on a coach again?

I wrote it first. Said Dak’s turnover changed the face of the game last week. Same thing happened this week. I posted before those articles were up. The turnover versus Atlanta also put us in a hole though we came back.
