Wallace is now being referred to as "Bubba Smollett" by the media who cover NASCAR. Apparently BooBa created a completely phony story to get attention and magnify his driving ability which now everyone sees as being a middle-of-the-pack average driver. There is a growing sentiment that he may not end-up in ANY of the available rides but that just may be someone's hyperbolic perspective. What is fact is Richard Petty is relieved to be rid of the guy and they will probably ink either Erik Jones, Kyle Larson, or a driver yet unknown over at RPM.

been a rumor that bubba might race for Denny Hamlin. Now I havent read any particulars so dont know what that means.
But if Denny is going to start a team in cup (again no idea) I would assume that is just a loophole for another Joe Gibbs racing supported team & toyota would love to have some cars on the track (they by far have the least)
So if any of that is true. Bubba would have a ton of support for those that are a fan of his.

I think Nike owns the Jumpman name, but I really need Jordan to call his team Jumpman Motorsports

Fwiw, since its basically gonna be a Gibbs car, Wallace should have a pretty good ride. It won't be immediate because is gonna take time for the team to work things out and such, but it should be decent enough to compete for top 10s and an occasional win within a couple of years.

Yep, Indeed it was correct as a new team is formed with billionaire, Michael Jordon becoming principal owner with Hamlin minority owner and Wallace the driver of probably a Joe Gibbs provided Toyota. That leaves several more rumors about who will fill the 43 and the 48 as Ross Chastain moves into the 42 for Chip Ganassi.

Many rumors swirling but the principals in that scenario have the return of Kyle Larson or Suarez going to the 48. The driver for the 43 scenario is deriving a host of wild rumors that include a bunch of drivers such as Suarez, Larson, and Ty Dillon, and even Hailie Deegan. Should be interesting to see who finally ends up in the iconic 43.
