It sounds like Mitch could be starting the season as the Bears QB....LOL
The word locally is that Foles has not separated himself. Mitch has a better grasp of the reads but his accuracy has been hot and cold. Both have looked good. Both have looked bad.

Either way, its GM Ryan Pace's job on the line. So the QB decision better be the right one.

ESPN's Mike Reiss believes Patriots WR Damiere Byrd is the "top candidate" for the No. 3 role.
The Patriots like Byrd's fit as a deep threat behind Julian Edelman and N'Keal Harry. Byrd played with Cam Newton in Carolina and flashed over 11 games with the Cardinals last year. With Mohamed Sanu gone, Byrd should see snaps on the outside in three-wide sets.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mitchell Trubisky is expected to start Week 1.
Trubisky held off Nick Foles, who has fully guaranteed salaries the next two seasons. Chicago wasn't expected to name a starter before Week 1. PFT's Mike Florio reported the coaching staff believes Trubisky "stepped up and improved the way the team wanted." Trubisky will open the year in a starting role, but his leash is short after regressing across the board in 2019.

Washington waived WR Trey Quinn.
This comes as a surprise after Quinn made six starts out of the slot last year. Quinn could draw some interest on waivers. If not, he'll return on Washington's practice squad.

Not in my mind..not at all. I'd say he was more valuable in JAX. significant hit in TB, as hes not likely to fully take over until a few weeks into the season, if at all. And when/if he does, he's not gonna be getting 25 touches a game like he used to, and his worth is tied to volume. Jones is gonna get play, Shady will get play, and I have a hard time believing Vaughn "only" plays special teams all year. I wouldn't touch him until rd 4 or so..if then.

Lamar Miller probably the biggest name thus far that hits the streets. Given the amount of semi-quality free agent RB's in the unemployment line already, and his still wonky knee, could be awhile before he finds a home. If at all

Just got him in early rd7 in a 10 team super flex league with 2 keepers.

So I'd say early rd 6 if prob good target for 12tm leagues. I'd rather take WRs when ppl are drafting Gurley, Dav Johnson, etc, then get fournette following that RB group

Eagles GM Howie Roseman believes Alshon Jeffery (foot) will be ready before Week 7.
Jeffery appears to have dodged the PUP list, meaning he'll likely return within the first six games. He's still working his way back from foot surgery, however, and the Eagles are actively looking for trade partners. Jeffery's $9.9 million contract makes that difficult. The Eagles have DeSean Jackson, Jalen Reagor, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, and Greg Ward to round out the group. Jeffery is a player to leave on the waiver wire until he's activated in standard-sized leagues

only the pats

Patriots waived K Justin Rohrwasser.
It's a huge admission of defeat from the Patriots, who will supposedly stash the No. 159 overall pick of the draft on the practice squad. Rohrwasser's selection was immediately followed by an off-the-field controversy when it was revealed he had a tattoo associated with a white nationalist hate group. Rohrwasser, who is already 23 years old, claimed ignorance. He got the tattoo removed but then proceeded to stink up the joint in training camp, getting badly out-kicked by Nick Folk. Folk, surprisingly, has also been released, so the Pats will be in the market for a new kicker.

Yeah I’d say Fournette’s value has gone down so you can wait...probably get him in 6 or 7 and if he balls...I would say that will be well worth it

My only guess is they would've cut him, so something better than nothing. Otherwise, no, it doesn't make sense at all
