Does anyone have an update on Calhoun and Santana? We need to get Choo out and utilize one of these two guys.

I checked yesterday and found no current updates on either.

Don't have an issue with Choo in the lineup myself.

But I get the impression that not trading Lynn this year is going to be a bigger fail than not trading Minor last year.

3+ weeks left in the season, not an ideal time to "see what you have" with players.

Just my opinion. If we had 2+ months left, then I'd be on board.

Guys that become aces always concern me when it comes to possible regression. Not saying that's what is happening here with Lynn, but if it does, then hoo boy are we fucked.

He could hit 3 HR today and I would feel the same, because like others said, it really doesn't have anything to do with him production-wise.

I did have a very strong feeling when I made that post that that meant he was going to hit a HR though. Lol

You can't tell a whole lot by three weeks of playing time now, but you can tell more now than you can in ST. They will be judged by a lot more than these three weeks, but why not get them some experience now. We get nothing at all by Choo starting 3 more weeks.

They should just come out and say before the season is over that Solak is the starting 2B for 2021. They need to tell Odor that he needs to learn to play a couple of other positions if he wants to stick around as a bench player next year.

Well, if they are not going to release him, he will take up a bench spot, so he needs to learn how to play more than 2B. I remember calling for the same thing last year because it was time for that then.

By my count we've got 5 "let's see what they got" players in the lineup. Who would take Choo's place that isn't already out there?
