Berry's 10 lists of 10: Busts, bold predictions and fantasy buzz I'm buying

These are pretty cool, 10 lists of 10.

10 unsexy guys who have no buzz and no one will go "ooh, good pick" when you draft them, but all will be very productive this year, will outperform ADP significantly and will help you win

1. Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff
2. Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson
3. Houston Texans RB David Johnson
4. Miami Dolphins RB Jordan Howard
5. Los Angeles Rams WR Robert Woods
6. Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd
7. New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman
8. Detroit Lions WR Marvin Jones Jr.
9. Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle

My 10 "Chicken" players
So here are 10 big-name players who I am nervous about this year, either due to injury, the offense, the players around them, the high ADP it will cost to draft them, and/or other reasons.

1. Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb.
2. Arizona Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake.
3. Detroit Lions RB D'Andre Swift.

4. Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
5. Buffalo Bills RB Devin Singletary.
6. New Orleans Saints WR Emmanuel Sanders
7. Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton.

8. Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker.
9. New York Giants TE Evan Engram.
10. New Orleans Saints TE Jared Cook.

they only have 38 others at the position. BB will use all but one of them most of the season and then that one missing one will get played at the most unepected time

The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia said if RB Devin Singletary's fumbling issues continue into the regular season, rookie RB Zack Moss "could take over as the lead back."
Buscaglia added that Moss, the bigger of the two backs, is the superior option between the tackles and is "the likelier option for goal line touches." Buffalo coaches have emphasized that Singletary must improve with ball security and blitz pickup. Moss, meanwhile, has shined as a ball carrier and a pass catcher. The rookie is being drafted three rounds after Singletary. Moss is an ideal pick for Zero RB drafters.

2. Arizona Cardinals RB Kenyan Drake. Three previous coaching staffs -- Alabama when he was in college and two different regimes in Miami -- refused to make him a feature back for some reason. Here's his point totals once he came over to Arizona: 28.2, 10.1, 14, 7.1, 9.7, 39.6, 33.4, 17.3. He started as a monster and finished with three insane games, but there was a four-game stretch in there (Weeks 10 through 14) where Drake was RB29 on a per-game basis, tied with Duke Johnson.

@Lamarvelous thoughts.......

Actually surprised to see him as a "chicken" pick. I thought his ADP was so far down he was basically a QB2. Not much risk there.

Actually agree with basically the entire list...and even though I love Chubb and think he will be great. I can see why he could be a potential "Chicken" pick

is this based on how they are drafted or based on end of season rankings??

I did some similar analysis last year, tried to explain to some friends that once you get beyond RB 12-15 in half PPR, that WRs become more valuable, but it was like talking to a brick wall.

I forget the exact RB position it flips to WRs being more valuable, but it happens with that 13-24 group.

@MilkSpiller22 - I'm pretty sure this is just taking the top 24 RBs and 24 WRs total pts from the actual season and comparing the averages

I want to say it flips in WR advantage around RB15 or so, but can't remember when I looked at it using 2018 stats.

I used the info to stock up on good WRs in my work league, ended up taking 3rd. Would've won the whole thing if I had the stones to play Perriman the week Godwin got hurt vs Detroit

So what would be the cutoff this year for RB's...

I'm thinking the Todd Gurley/Melvin Gordon/David Johnson/Bell range...at least for me.

Woah...didn't see that coming. I haven't seen him since his Bama days. Was he pretty good for the Jags? It looks like he was a starter last year.

I feel like that's huge for them with Delpit out for season and safeties badly needed on that roster

if possible, I def want to avoid those RBs and take WRs in that range.

once CEH/Drake/Conner/Carson get plucked, I'm hoping to already have 2 RBs on my roster and start loading up WRs

You don't have to worry about CEH...he will be gone at 5
