Jets got 2 first a 3rd and a player. Now Sea has to sign Adams to mega contract. That trade is too rich for me for a non QB. Adams is a good player but Sea better win now. If the Redskins made this trade the media would be all over them. Im curious to see what the media says about Sea with this trade.

The only trade I compare this to is when the Bears traded for Mack.

A huge price to pay for a pretty good safety.

I’m not sure why seattle made that trade, other than they must think they are a safety away from competing for the super bowl.

With the Niners already boasting a great defense, I’m not sure why they made this move. It doesnt feel like a move that would put them over the top.

I agree. For a non QB it doesn't make sense. They could compete with the 49ers without this trade. Sea is about about Wilson.

To me, this trade rivals the Hopkins Texans trade in sheer “wtf-ness,” for lack of a better phrase.

Honestly though, the Jets have drafted terribly, especially in the first round for years now, so Perhaps they need all the help they can get.

I read somewhere that they’ve traded away almost all of their first round picks they’ve drafted since 2013.

That’s Vinny cerroto level shittiness.

Mack was a game changing edge rusher and was worth the steep price.

I agree and the Bears got back a 2nd. Plus the Jets got Mcdougal is an average starting safety.

Disagree.

Mack is a great player, no doubt, but the Bears shouldnt have traded away all those picks to get him because they weren’t an olb away from contending for anything.

Big trades involving lots of first round picks dont usually work out for the team that trades away the picks.

Off the top of my head, I cant think of a single time they did work out.

I am with you. I think it showed last season with 8 wins in decline.

Is Seatle close ? I would say yes but they mortgaged a lot to get Adams so it had better work out

They didn't want to pay Clowney but they pay Adams? Two first for a malcontent. Yes, he threw the HC under the bus to get out of town. Bell even called him out for lying about it. Typical over paid selfish individual who only cares about himself, not the team.
