When you say "media" do you mean ESPiN? They are in bed with SEC for some reason.

How can Alabama be considered such a lock for the National Championship game?
When Okllahoma State has a better resume, will be a conference champion, and has'nt already lost to LSU?
Oklahoma State's SOS: 7
Alabama's SOS: 42
Oklahoma State vs ranked teams after they beat Oklahoma: 5-0
Alabama vs ranked teams: 2-1
Oklahoma State: Big 12 Champion
Alabama: Not even a divisional champion.
What the hell is this!?
Why the HELL is Alabama being considered a lock for the National Championship game?
It makes absolutely ZERO sense. None.
And dont you dare make the pathetic "Our loss is better than your loss" argument.
A loss is a loss. It's your total body of work that counts. Not 1 loss, that counts the same for both teams.
If Oklahoma State wins tonight and they're not #2, then the system is broken.
People. This cant happen, if it does..... then Wow. Just Wow.
What kills me is EVERYONE in the media keeps saying the same thing - "I'm using the eyeball test" - which is a load of horseshit for use when you don't want to actually debate the merits of your choice.
What they are really saying is that SOS doesn't matter. Conference championships don't matter. What matters is whether the MEDIA THINKS you look better than other teams regardless of on field results.
The big problem with this? Tony Mandarich passed the eyeball test. Reggie Bush passed the eyeball test. Ohio State in 06 passed the eyeball test. That test is worthless. It should NEVER overrule onfield results.
Bama looks great and unbeatable because they've played NO ONE that could beat them outside of LSU. I keep hearing about their loss.......but NOTHING about who they BEAT......why? Because they played scrubs all year.
