What I see as amazing there is Marino did it before the league really became a passing league.

That said I long ago admitted I was wrong about Wilson. The Smurf is Legit.

Another thing to add on it Pete still calls games as if it’s not a passing league

He won that SB, not because of divine inspiration but because he was surrounded by a bunch of trash-talking cut-throat teammates. Seattle had that WOW factor then. They were a team that made you want to hate them because they were unfairly good. I would say that I did not respect Seattle until they were milder. I even questioned Wilson's faith. I did not respect Aaron Rodgers(as a player) either until I wanted him to beat the opposition.

It speaks volumes when you realize it's easier to respect players after the fact and not during. Look at the current SB winners and teams playing in SBs, if you're not game breakingly good with attitude(not just on the field attitude either) you're not going to get very far.

You got the 'Rona, bro? Sounding a bit delusional....

Marino was great, no doubt but he did threw for 556 more passes than Wilson and had the Mark twins. What is also amazing for Russell is his int ratio. I understand Marino played his whole career before they enforced the no contact rule in 05, and Peyton played 1 /3 of his career , but 1/2 the ints by RW

I really like how this graph is referencing the "first 8 seasons" and includes Peyton with the Broncos logo. A true legend of the Denver Broncos and no other teams.

Go Broncos!

They should have put the logo for Ace Ventura next to Marino

 What does Russell Wilson have to realize?

Did you see how emotional he was in the first SF game? He wants to go back to that SB so bad but he should know deep down it's going to take more than his faith and will to win, as Wilson strongly lives by.

That he won a Super Bowl with a lot of talent around him and since the team hasnt been able to get as much talent on the team, and that is somehow Wilson's fault

Well, when you are the face of the franchise you have to be able to take a stand to help your team. Brees has done it. He even took restructures and paycuts to help the team get back to contention. We know Brady has spoken out about his teams, even Rodgers. Winners don't sit back and wait for something to happen. At some point, Wilson is going to get tired of waiting and want a shakeup. Seattle is still playing well enough to make the playoffs every year and lose in divisional rounds. They are just a few big pieces away from being back to dominant. There's no excuse to keep having the same results with a playoff team.
