Why is this question relevant? Ron Rivera has repeatedly said that there's going to be competition for all jobs (I'll add in 2021) Moses will win or lose his job like everyone else.

If Charles cant win the Lt position then go with Lucas. Plus I haven't written off Christian yet. I think Charles wins it. Charles isn't really a 4th round talent. He is a 2nd round talent who fell to the fourth round b/c of off field issues.

Charles is 2nd round talent with character issues. Bring in a solid vet like Peters to show Charles how to handle his business on and off the field for a year, then insert Charles.

lucas is a RT by trade . charles is a 4th rounder , thats when he was drafted . and even if you buy the 2nd round argument you still dont "expect " them to start day 1

round doesn't mean anything. its talent. I expect Charles to start Day 1 b/c he started for a big time school in the best conference in America. He has the talent. I thought Lucas played some LT for the Bears last year. Its quite possible that Charles and Christian could win the starting tackle jobs this year.

Lucas is nothing more than a journeyman who has also shown signs of not being able to handle LT duties. Peters would provide exactly what's needed for Charles' trajectory. Lucas can battle with Moses for the RT spot and the loser assumes Tackle swing duties.

Settle? If Charles didn't have the off field issues and this was a normal draft for OT's his talent level could of brought him into the late 1st -2nd round.
