I don't think you guys are a top 3 overall pick next year. The window to make that happen was probably limited to 2019. The D should take off a bit under Rivera and the offense can really only get better.

Hypothetically pondering, wonder what happens to the 2021 draft if there is no NFL season this year? Do they go into the 2021 draft with the same draft order as 2020? If that is the case, we may have hit paydirt! #2 pick in the draft where the #1 slot already has their franchise QB.

If there is no nfl there is no collage and if that happens no draft. All the Sr will get 1 year eligiblity and the freshman coming in will get all redshirts

I would expect some sort of lottery. It may be a straight drawing of equality because presumably all 32 teams are now equal. No I do not believe that to be true.

There will be a draft without college football. It may not be a normal draft. Players, such as Trevor Lawrence, would have joined the 2020 draft if it weren’t for the rule that players must be out of HS for three years. Well, next draft season, these players will have been out of HS for three years, so what would you do with these players? They have every legal right to go to the NFL. What the NFL could do is have a supplemental style draft? One of two options:

1- Players who declare will come up one at a time and teams will bid on their service. If you want Lawrence, you bid your first round pick, and he goes to the team highest on the supplemental list, just like standard.

2- Players who declare will come up one at a time and teams will bid on their service. All teams are equal but you would bid multiple picks, weighted with a value, and the team with the highest bid wins. If we bid two first rounders on Lawrence and NE bids 2 firsts and a second, then NE would get him.

IMO, the Redskins have a chance to be a pretty good team, 8-8 or so, if their QB can play. That simple.

I don't know. For us to whip this, we have to have a vaccine. Highly unlikely that one will be developed, approved, and widely available by september.

I think the Jags, Panthers, Lions will all be in the running for Lawrence. The Jags already shipped off Ramsey, Bouye, Campbell, now Ngakoue and Fournette. I think the Giants could be as well.
The Skins have more talent, a better coach and if Haskins blossoms they could win 6-7 games.

Actually, there is a good chance it will happen. There are over 90 companies working on a vaccine right now (they smell the money). Quite a few show significant promise. It is not unrealistic to think that we may have a vaccine by the end of the year. The problem will then be production. We will need around 500-750M units to reach the herd immunity. And much like the traditional flu, the vaccine will most likely have to be altered yearly to address the annual mutation.

You may be right about this one. The problem really was one of concern over our ability to treat mass amounts of critically ill in a short period of time. Our health care system couldn't handle the project load. Fortunately, other than isolated areas such as NYC, this concern appears to not be coming to fruition. Is this a result of our shutting down everything? Who knows. I guess it had to help, but we may never know how much. Unless, of course, we restart the country and the cases take off again. Then we will know.

I dont see the redskins as drafting in the top 5 next year. I dont think they’re a playoff team either. I’m thinking 6-8 wins. Probably closer to 6 than 8.
