Grading the Washington Redskins picks from the 2020 NFL Draft

The 4th and 5th round picks were huge. Gibson is a wildcard that we took a chance on that should fit the new offense. Turner wanted this guy badly from what I heard. Turner will give him every chance to succeed. Hudson should make the team as special teamer. I don't see the two 7th round picks making the team.

We got very lucky with Moss. That was a huge risk not to take Moss in the 7th round. He could of signed with another TE needy team. I think Moss makes the team. You can make the argument that Moss could of been our 5th round pick. You can make the argument that Charles could of been our 3rd round pick.

here is my breakdown

Chase Young possible HOF pick best player on the board no brainer

Antonio Gibson RB/wr at the time i scratched my head about the pick and wanted o/line but getting this guy good give us a playmaker on offense much like curtis samuel seeing the tape makes me feel like we got good value

saddiq charles OT 6-4 322 lbs . could be starting by mid season , can be OG as well great value with some risk but we have leaders to keep him in line

AGG wr 6-4 223 lbs to me this is a great pick and he should hover around the 3rd to 4th wr range . smart , excellent athlete , should win a lot of jump balls . expect a harmon type rookie year from him

ismael center/OG could be the replacement for roullier in 2021 . didnt get the pick at first but again looking at some film clips and doing some research , this isnt a bad pick for round 5 people

hudson S/LB jack of all trades guy , not a great athlete but i saw him a bit at MI . great special teams guy with like 5 blocked kicks on his resume . most likely his role for his career . not a bad pick in round 5 to take a flier on

Kamren Curl S/cb 6-1 205 lbs this guy has coverage skills for a safety after starting out at CB his good hieght and some ball skills . played for an awful arkansas team and has faced tough competition . i feel like he is a great pick for this round


james smith williams de 6-3 265 lbs ran a 4.61 at the combine . 4-3 de who can set the edge in run game .

in 2018 he played 11 games and logged 6 sacks and 9 TFL . injuries kept him from being a mid round pick . to me he is a good value pick who if he can overcome the injury bug he could develop into a useful BU de . he will start on the PS

UDRFA

Thadues Moss TE 6-2 250 lbs , best blockerat TE in the draft class hands down . . jones fracture kept him from being drafted . to be honest it might have been the best move of the night . absolutely great pick up whether he pans out or not

isiah wright WR temple 6-2 220 this is another jack of all trades guy and the tape on him is pretty good . has a great chance to make the team as a returner of punts and KR. could be a WR 5 or 6

steven Montez QB 6-5 235 . has a big arm . most likely a PS guy . should see a lot of him in preseason

sam fortier wr 5-10 180lbs . good speed but most likely camp fodder
