The Fins are stacked in the secondary. CB Noah of Auburn is the pick. He will probably play nickle.

Jackson and Igbin. Both raw dudes. This is about 2021+

I think we get Ashtyn Davis in R2. Maybe with pick 39.

I don’t see safety as a need anymore. With Noah projected to work the slot and needham in dime packages McCain will stay at safety with Rowe.

I'm a bit concerned about Jackson, thought that was a bit of a reach. There were 4-5 higher rated OL's, this guy looks to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. You never know though, so maybe Fins know what they are doing??

I'm pretty pleased with the Jackson pick. He is a bit raw, but is also only 20. It was a bit of reach but it is a definite position of need and most evaluators gave him a first round grade. If they didn't take it there, he would have been gone by 26 can't afford to pass on it and move on to a lesser prospect.

If you have some time, check out his numbers coming out of college with Tunsil.

Anyway, I think Jackson will end up being a very good pick. Gotta keep in mind he got late start last season d/t to the surgery to save his sister's life and really improved throughout the year. Fins Up Fellas!

I did like that about his sister and giving bone marrow to help her. That at least shows good morals and character. I hope he does well, being 20 is a plus too, interesting Jones is still on the board, maybe fins can get him with 1st, second round pick, or are there issues with him??

No major issues that I'm aware of. I'd support the Jones pick in round 2. That could really round out the oline and allow Davis to bump back down to guard. If Jones is selected, oline could potentially look like this:

LT-Jackson
LG-Flowers
C-Karras
RG-Davis
RT-Jones

sounds good to me...

I like the Jackson pick. Jackson has the skill set to be a heck of a player. This upcoming season will be a good developmental year for him. He is a LT. The Fins may still need a RT unless they view Jesse Davis or another player on the roster capable. This year LT is more important than RT. Next year RT will be protecting Tua's blindside. The Fins have two first rounders next year. It would have to be a top pick at RT because rookies usually have more of a learning curve. The Fins may still pick the best available RT tonight.

RE Jones: I am not sure if he is the best available OT particularly now that they have filled LT and need a RT.

There are some star RBs available in the 2nd round. I would like to see the Fins land one of them.

The CB pick shows that they have confidence that McCain can play the safety spot. Also, Noah has played safety but he has the potential to be another shutdown CB on the roster.

I'm all in on Jonathan Taylor. Swift and/or Dobbins would be a good complement to Howard as well. It is hard to compare Swift running in the SEC vs Dobbins and Taylor running n B1G, Swift doesn't seem to have many big games. Taylor seems to more consistent over the past three years, but that also means he has many miles on him too.

Any of those three would be excellent picks.

I don't worry so much about Taylor's mileage because he would be sharing carries with Howard. He is like S. Barkley with his size and speed. He just needs to secure the ball better.

Swift and Dobbins are big time impact players also.

Draft Day 2 about to start in a few minutes - let's hope it is a lot better for the Dolphins than Day 1 was -- they didn't set the bar all that high. Hopefully, they do a better job at making use of their first pick of the second round and not waste it like yesterday.

The Dolphins will have multiple picks today -- OL, RB, pass rush still are needs

I'd like to see OT today as that's exactly what I'd do. It improves OT as well as RG with one pick. You also have depth across the oline. Need a big fat DT, RB and some pass rushers wouldn't hurt.

Fins get their guard from Louisville - still going to need Trump to build his wall in front of Tua

Olineman Robert Hunt is the pick. He has played OG and RT.

He is one of the highest ranked OGs in this draft.

The Oline will be drastically improved this year and even better next year.
