I saw this the other day (when I mentioned earlier about people coughing on produce), this is what I was referencing. Glad she's got something coming to her.

Much of docs numbers also seem fictitious.

Said we will soon be getting 10K cases/day....in OH mind you. would mean in a week we would have same number as Italy. Also said 95% of cases are coming back negative. would mean to get 10k cases/day would need 200k tests per day.

Seems a little high, no?

She also said "I am not pulling numbers out of the air" then a couple minutes later literally pulled numbers out of the air as she started up for 5+ seconds for her answer to a Q.

And how do numbers like these make you more or less prepared?

My opinion is we should prepare based on the numbers/advice of Dr. Fauci.

I will say this though, I'm glad that this board can be used to communicate - I may not always agree with guys like @tlance @Wamu @TurnUpTheHeat and @msgkings322 . But I'm glad we can have conversations that may sometimes get heated, but then starting joking with one another.

There is a way to share opinions and respectfully disagree.
I think we’ve accomplished that.

We'll (Florida) probably get blamed for Louisiana.

I saw a cell phone trace map of the fucking spring break morons here and their paths since they left.
Florida leadership deserves any blame they get.

Understatement. De Santis is a monumental fuck up for his handling of this. If people that have been criticizing Trump think he did a shit job, please look at Florida.

@msgkings322 to bring back our discussion from earlier - I think it's 50/50 in terms of who's right in the debate. Yes, Trump has done some things that no other president has done - which leds to unfound criticism that is deserved. But there's the other side, which is what I'm bringing up and points to how incompetent state government is, like in Louisiana for example

My bad. Didn't realize you had already mentioned it.

Oh, you're good, my dude. I was hoping and curious to see if something happened. Coughing on produce right now is one of the most heinous things you can do in this situation we're in right now.

She deserves whatever the maxium penalty would be for her crime. And she should go through a mental evaluation. Normal thinking people don't do things like that.

He's not my guy. But I do find it refreshing that he's probably the most transparent president we've had since I can remember. And, although he hasn't been perfect, this country wasn't exactly falling apart under his watch like so many claimed was happening. Now all of a sudden, a global pandemic is happening, and this is being put at his feet by so many.

At the beginning of his presidency, I didn't really care much for him. But I've seen so many criticize him for menial shit that past presidents have been more than guilty of; it starts to build up a resentment against those parties.

And the funniest part is, his approval numbers are higher than ever right now.

You could argue this from both sides of the fence. Yes, Trump should've been more imposing and the ventilator issue that Wamu brought up is more than valid. Having said that, you're seeing a failure at the local government level as Trump basically said to each state - "The ball's in your court".

With something like this, it is, or at least should be, handled at the local level with support from the federal government.

All areas are not experiencing this the same way. New York is pretty much ground zero for the United States and they have a lot of people stacked on top of one another.

So, New York needs to have stricter measures than a smaller town where people are more spread out.
