Another reason they brought Blythe back. Versatility on the cheap. Cooks will be gone and Zuerlein will be too because his productivity is declining while his salary is going up.
They'll keep Ramsey because his productivity is high like Donald but if he gets big money and starts pulling a Peters, he will be gone sooner than later. I believe the Rams have gone into a semi rebuild mode in hopes of coming back in a year or two.Well, we’ll probably be fighting for the bottom of the West again at this point. If we’re not going to contend this year, we might as well trade Ramsey and see if we can get back in the first round.
Looks as though McSnead are gutting big contracts and starting a rebuild mode. Why they kept Whitworth remains a mystery. The release of Matthews is the same process. Cooks will be the next to go via trade probably around draft day.
We must have some SERIOUS confidence in Henderson going into this year.

damn... thanks for the memories in the uniform TG30, well...time for the rams to sink back to the bottom of the NFC west. Can we just pull the plug on 2020 and reset it?
well to be honest, do we even get a season in with the virus?
I had as many 100 yard rushing games as Gurley last year, he had 4 games where averaged more than 4 yards a carry. So it's the offensive line fault, which is bs, but okay, so the guy needs great run blocking just to have decent success. Only one good run all season, which went for 25 yards. So if he needs great run blocking to be successful than he isn't worth the money. He got hurt in the playoffs after signing the extension, contracts like that are going to be bad contracts.
well, the way things are going... who knows.
I get it business move... they are looking like the smartest FO in the world if he doesn't get hurt but hind site is 2020. But golden boy did mention his mishap by not using him more so that part is on him. If only i could be a fly on the wall in those coaches meetings. At this point i want to know what the plan is for the run game as I'm not sold on DH's 3.8 yards per carry either.
TB will sign Gurley to team with Brady as they need a RB.
I don’t think Gurley is done.
This was a matter of the Rams FO jumping the gun on contract extensions and overpaying 3 players that weren’t worth the money they signed for and this is the result.
DH’s 3.8 is the same as Gurley.
What’s the common denominator here: the O-line
But, let’s blame the RB and say he’s done.
Rams would’ve been better served using Gurley more last season to keep his value up. Then, they could’ve actually found a trade partner and got something in return when they wanted to move on.
Instead, they got nothing, and I think Gurley has a good season and the Rams look like morons.
Don’t be surprised if Gurley’s numbers look better than any RB the Rams trot out.
