With the NBA going on hiatus tonight and other sports venues doing similar things due to the virus concerns, the MLB will have to make some huge decisions coming up as they try to start the season. This is now beyond the Mariners not starting at home to start the season.

Yeah I agree with some of the other comments I think it is better to suspend the season before it even starts I wouldn't even be surprised if they didn't finish spring training as soon as an MLB player test positive for the virus its over

Screw it, let them play in empty stadiums and televise the games.
Got to let these young kids play, get their AB's in and grow.

I'd guess April 9th is wishful thinking at this point but who really knows. They probably want to make sure this is handled before they even attempt to start things up and we have no idea how long that will take.

If this season happens it likely won't start until at least May, and that may be wishful thinking.

This thing isn't going away, nor slowing to the point we can resume normal life for a few months.
