This recent slump is getting quite irritating. No way we should've lost to the Cavs and T-Wolves in back-to-back games. My low 50 win projection is starting to look homer-ish now.

They should still reach it. They basically barely have to play .500 ball to get at least 50 wins. Just need to go 14-10 to achieve that. Going to eventually break out of this slump. Also have to think they improve oncr Herro and Leonard are back which is hopefully soon

Wish why i never understood why people dislike him....and im not talking about those who dislike his decision making.

There are people who actually hate Russ. He plays how you wish all top players would. Give 110% every single night. Effort is never a question with Russ as you know he gave it everything he had every single night.

Now that his shot selection/decision making got much better, he is incredible to watch

Wait, coaches are allowed to change their system to get the most out of their players?????

It's always been shot selection with him...and that's pretty much it (at my issue with him). I don't think anyone can say he is and always has been a great player but he has been inconsistent in the playoffs mainly due to games bc of bad shot selection. It seems like he has matured, it's about time...but none of it matters if he falls back to old Russ in the playoffs. RW and Harden when on is the best combo in the NBA in my mind. Houston might not have the most talented roster to win a championship but it's crazy the Rockets are still championship or bust bc of having Harden and Russ trying to get their first ship imo.

I've never disliked Russ just seemed like in the past you either need the perfect system around him or he will have those games where he goes 8-31. Other than that, he is a beast. Really hope he wins one before his career is over

I'm thinking of setting the over/under date for the next Sixers road win as :

October

Impressive athlete, but seems a real prick on the court. Complains constantly (although that's 90% of the league). At least he's finally let up on the perimeter jumpers, as his outside touch is unreliable at best at this level. His touch might improve if he wasn't constantly at that 110% level; there has to be some peace/clarity of mind during a jump shot IMO. Russ is at full burst constantly.

Giannis most likely locked the MVP voting up but really Lebron statistically means more to the Lakers than Giannis means to the Bucks..

Net rating on and off the court this year:

James on: 10.7 | James off: minus-2.6 | Differential : 13.3
Antetokounmpo on: 15.8 | Antetokounmpo off: 6.0 | Differential: 9.8

I disliked him because he's too damn talented to make that many poor choices. He has all the tools to be an unstoppable force, but he gets in his own way too many times. Same like how I get frustrated with Curry when he becomes turnover prone or gets super sloppy with the ball.

I've said a lot around here how I think this is the best version of Russ I've ever seen and I love how he's playing this year. If he could have played with this type of control when he was teamed up with KD, they would both still be in OKC with probably two titles.

After starting the season 24-8, the Heat have been 12-14. They really need Herro back.

Things gone downhill since he got hurt. His injury timing was pretty bad also. Missed the entire 6 game roadtrip. Heat currently 2-7 in the games he and Leonard missed since they both got hurt vs philly

Russ with his 14th game of 30+ points since the start of the new year. Most in the association.

You can't name 5 players better than Russ since January 1st.
Snell
DiVincenzo
Brogdon
Paul Mokeski
Kareem

You're welcome

True, but often he (Herro) was on the bench during the ends of games, and that's when we've fallen apart.
