Well I am comfortable with saying that Handi was a part of it... I think overall it was a combination of things and drama.

I agree about Toad too. I found out about his meltdown a couple days after it happened and could not believe it when I read that thread. I mean he was always a bit over the top but I had never seen him lose it like that. I have not spoken to Toad since. He has only just recently posted a few times over on the other board but after reading his "apology" I gotta admit I was not happy about any of that at all. I talked with BG about it and she also left that site over the situation.

I just really felt that his explanation about the meltdown and apology were not enough to amend for his behavior. Which is a bummer since I have known toad for years... but Peter sure as hell did not deserve what happened.

So after burning his way off this board (something quite hard to do so props for him on that) toad went to this other board Rivals people went to and went nuclear?

Yet handi is somehow worse is he? I'm confused here. And yes I know it's more your rivals friends than you specifically that had the issues.

I have known Toad for approx seven years, and at no time until the meltdown did he ever go after anybody the way he did that night. Handi, on the other hand has a history of aggressively trolling people... Toad was actually a great poster for many years.

Now does this excuse Toad's behavior when he went over the edge? No. I have not spoken to, nor do I even feel the need to speak with Toad after his meltdown, and attempt at an apology.

Since I have no idea what this meltdown was, or what it was about, I can't really have a stance on him. The difference here though is he torched the fuck out of this place and went after admins and just the site in general. Handi, as far as I know, backs down and doesn't try his stuff on the mods/admins. He seems to mostly go after other trolls, but also can't help pouring a bit of lighter fluid on newer posters that show a soft belly.

There are people here who appreciate a 'good' troll. The problem is not everyone agrees on what is good and what is just plain annoying bullshit. Most get though that you jump in at your own peril and ALWAYS have the ability to just ignore the ones you don't find entertaining.

It really never ceases to puzzle how people don't get that basic premise. Don't ban anyone because I dislike them. It's my fault if I can't find a way to deal with them.

Sure, going after people in real life and using real life shit here crosses lines I think is lame as fuck. To me that's where things have gone too far. Anything short of that buck up and deal with it. Going to real life is something I would personally ban for, but it's not my site.

The point with Toad is he was pretty damned bad and yet none of the others that left here because of handi left Rivals or whatever new board they are on now because of Toad and he's no saint. It's selective outrage.
