You have to jump higher to do a 2 handed dunk for one. Plus the object being jumped was 8" taller. What don't you get about degree of difficulty? Sure, Tacko was standing in a foot closer or more. DJJ doesn't clear Tacko either, and didn't even think to try.

You have no idea if he could or couldn’t have.
All we know for sure, is Gordon didnt.
And since he failed on the Final dunk ( of his choice), he shouldnt whine about losing.

Jones Jr did mis time his jump, but he easily made it.
It he starts from the line, he’s not coming up short.

Aaron Gordon had the best dunk in that contest. I thought both guys got 50's when they shouldn't have. DJJ saying he is the best dunker in the world is funny but I think he was just bragging to Gordon more than anything. It could have went either way, Gordon is definitely the best non-champion I have seen in a long time.

They give out 50's like it's candy...the reason why it isn't what it used to be. That being said, that was still a good one.

They shouldn't have a former player (recently retired) that played for the same team as one of the dunkers. Wade obviously wanted DJJ to win, it wasn't just his decision but you can definitely sway the votes if it's that close.

I agree. Mainly because after the first half the teams were actually playing defense. Even James Harden!!!!

And in the 4th quarter we got to see the 10 best players in the world almost play playoff style ball.

The new format really surprised me. I like the fact the players were playing hard in each quarter. Really surprised the 4th lasted more than five minutes.

They need to bring back the East v West though. This team captain BS is terrible. Seeing that the most fans votes becomes team captain you just know it's going to be Lebron v Giannis again next year.

Not really true. Steph was the captain a few years ago. A healthy KD or Steph is very capable of being team captain.

Also Luka being a team captain is not far fetched

Luka actually had the 2nd most fan votes this year (more than Giannis) so it is possible he can eventually pass Lebron

I would be inclined to agree, except next year is going to be a little different.

Next year, we will have two superstars who just sat out an entire season due to injury and were teammates last season.

If Steph and KD play anywhere close to their normal levels, it seems very possible that they could be the captains.

Talk about a storyline.

Lebron and Giannis are basically the 2 best players in the conference and arguably the 2 best in the world so i really I don't see the issue. The fans are doing a fine job when it comes to picking captains They're choosing the guys having the best seasons. Is there a player in the east having a better season than Giannis or a player in the west having a better season than lebron?

Luka also closed the gap on Lebron from last year so yeah it is no guaranteed that Lebron is the captain next year especially if Luka improves once again.

The difference between the 2 in 2019 was 377,829 and this year that dropped to 163,724.
