:pound:

Tristan Thompsn was ejected last night for slapping Jae Crowder on his ass. That pervert should keep his hands to himself.

"Draymond's team does well when there are a bunch of high-scoring superstars around him."

Well duh.
The same can be said for any bottom 3rd NBA talent.
Draymond was always overrated.

I have said that.

This year’s Draymond?

No.

2-4 years ago? Hell yes.

What you fail to recognize is that both players are flawed. On a top team, it is easier to work with 2016 Draymond’s flaws than Kevin Love’s.
But the question is who is not better under ideal circumstances, it is who is a better basketball player. The answer is not Draymond Green.

Green was not just on a good team, BTW, he was on arguably one of the best ever. As Raptor said, great players can at least put up numbers on bad teams (even when they are the focal point of the other team´s defense). Love can...Green cannot.

Is he over paid today?

Yes.

Yet, GS still has means to combine assets with DLo to return a 3rd star and Draymond’s contract won’t be an issue to anybody but GS ownership who will have to pay a substantial tax.

And I am sure they are willing given what Draymond has given the franchise already. He is getting paid for what he did in the past. So not fair to call him a fraud.
Agree about the contract. Was sign him or no one pretty much....as long as GS wants to pay him.

Better playmaker, better defender, great match for a high scoring pg like Steph.

He's not on Love's level as a scorer and I'd lean Love as a rebounder. But, Dray isn't bad there either.

Not a jag, not a star on his own.

Ultimate role player with the proper supporting cast * see scorers* sound fair?
He was definitely a good fit for his team when all healthy and still there (Durants), but not sure how many teams are like his.

Might not be fair to call him a JAG. He´s a decent role player for most teams.

Is anyone ever going to apologize to the Eastern conference? The East has 6 teams on pace for 50+ wins at the halfway mark.....same as the west

Pretty crazy that at the halfway mark, about 15 of the 16 playoffs spots seem to be a lock

All summer everyone was shitting on the east saying how there only 2 good teams. Fast forward to the middle of the season and the East is just as good as the West.
Top teams probably are. And for much of the season they were playing pretty even head to head.....but the West has pulled away.

Head to head, as of Monday, the West was ahead of the East 117-95.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on that apology.

Bottom of the West is better than bottom of the East.

1-8 though? They're pretty close....damn near even

The EC has 6 teams above .500. The WC has 7. The EC has 2 teams above .400. The WC has 4. The EC has 4 teams above .300. The WC has 3. The EC has 2 teams above .200. The WC has 1. As of right now the WC has a 322-300 record. The EC has a 303-325 record. Not sure the EC is just as good as the WC.

Top 8 - East 64-51
Top 8 - West 77-41

I'm talking about record.....not h2h.

As I said in my previous post, bottom of the west (teams 9-15) are much better than 9-15 in the East. Playing the Spurs and Blazers is not the same as playing the Pistons and Bulls. Spurs and Blazers are much better teams

Also there is more digging to do then looking at the record? How many of those West teams actually played several games against the top of the East?

The best way to actually judge my statement is to look at the top 7 in both conference record against each other.

Over the last decade, outside of maybe one or two teams, the East has been significantly weaker than the West.

This year the gap has gotten smaller.

That being said, the Warriors are probably going to do a complete 360 next year when Steph and Klay come back
