Yea and then only reason it went to OT at all is because the Hawks dropped to gimme picks that would have iced the game.

it goes both ways
It would have never been that close if Niners had Emanuel and Kittles that game.

It wouldn’t have been a close game if Seattle didn’t have like 6 starters out in the game in Seattle.

Niners tried to give that game away. Up 2 scores and then they get lazy

Yes it does the 49ers weren't healthy when they played in San Francisco and Seattle won and the opposite was the case week 17.

Dark Horse for me is the Titans. I can see them making a run for some reason.

Of course, the reality will probably end up being the Pat's repeating somehow.

I can see NE winning because counting that out would be very dumb at this point. Their defense has struggled a bit down the stretch though and they really have been the strength of the Pat's this season. Who knows though, maybe the O flips a switch or the D finds its groove.

I can't see Rodgers tossing 500 yrds and 5 TDs against the 9ners D though. He just hasn't put up great numbers against tough D's this season. Even the Lions awful secondary didn't give him close to that. Also, even though the 9ners D has lost a step since they beat the Pack 8-37 in week 12, Rodgers would still need to see his stat line increase by 5 times to produce those numbers:

Week 12 Rodgers vs SF stats:

20/33 104 yrds 1 td 5 sk 1 fum

Exactly. Rodgers got absolutely spanked by the Niners last game and if they meet again it will be in San Fran again. I wouldn’t see that result changing

If they got lazy when up sounds like poor coaching to me

Oh I get it but I do think of both teams a fully healthy then the 49ers would win. Neither is but the 49ers are healthier and will be should they play again.

I think if both teams are at 100% health the 49ers should win, but I think both teams are around the same level

Direct and to the point since no other team besides the Patriots really matter.

Wild Card-Patriots kick Titans ass. 56-9

Divisional-Patriots kick Chiefs ass. 49-14

AFC Championship-Patriots kick Ravens ass. 42-10

SuperBowl-Battle of the Beautiful Quarterbacks
Patriots kick 49’ers ass. 35-7

Brady gives a big “Fuck You!!” shoutout and retires a 7 time SuperBowl Champ.

What I am learning from this thread is that some people don't know how playoff seeding works.

Also, no one believes in the Packers. That is fair. I don't either.

I'd still consider them the 3rd best team in the NFC at this moment in time but I think their problem is that the Saints and 49ers are terrible matchups for them and unless they get really lucky they'll almost certainly have to face at least one of those teams if not both to get just get to the SB.

They just got fortunate that they really only had to play one team with a winning record down the stretch or they probably would've taken one more loss down the stretch and been bumped to a 3rd seed. From the 2 seed I'd say they have a respectable shot at it but I wouldn't put money on it.

Really it depends on Rodgers and if he can consistently be great. He was good this season but he only had stretches where he was great and he's needs to be great more than good to advance.
