“Fanboy” logic:

We have injuries but they won’t hurt us.

They have injures that will hurt them!

btw... you can see this common theme developing with him in his posts.

Yes, yes I do.

At this point, all i want is the saints not to lose in ridiculous fashion like the last 2 seasons. Lose normal for once

That's the worst feeling. Beating yourselves or losing like the Saints did last year, one of the most crucial and bad calls in NFL history.

I would still put Russell and Aaron over Lamar for the simple fact Lamar has not won a playoff game yet. That could all change this year as far as top QB's right now. The playoffs is a different beast...I agree with this list as far as regular season for the most part though.

Didn't say that. We were just as banged up in that first matchup. We are still very much so banged up. Difference is though that they now are as well with very key players from their earlier 17-9 win over us now not avaialbe to play this weekend. It's a bit of an equalizer to get to play a very injured team when our team is also very injured.

Wentz's first playoff game could be a problem. Don't know. What I do know though is large part of Seattle beating the Eagles earlier this season were big games by two RBs that won't be playing so I like our chances getting the win.

By the time Eagles play 49ers Wentz will have the first postseason game behind him while we get to play Jimmy heading into his premiere game.

The whole playoff experience is overhyped by the media and fans. It's not completely irrelevant but it's not like the game of football is different when the playoffs start.

I could make the argument that the Jimmy G and the 9ers are the most playoff ready team right now. 4 of their last 6 games were against good playoff teams and 3 of those games were on the road. In addition all 5 of their previous games were decided in the final seconds so they've been playing tough playoff like games for 5 straight weeks now.

But even what I just mentioned doesn't amount to much because games are won behind the scenes in game planning and on the field with execution.

I think there is real value to it in regards to the start of the game. Someone making their first career playoff start compared to someone who has played in the playoffs before is in all likelihood dealing with a higher adrenaline level and how they do early game is how they are able to manage that increased adrenaline level. After that initial first quarter or so and everyone has settled into the game then it really isn't much of a factor anymore.

And then Seattle got jobbed at home on no PI on Hollister.

Seattle should have had both games, banged up as they are.
Yea I agree, but when you let the game be close enough to where the refs can screw you, that’s your own fault
