The B1G does have Rutgers and Maryland, while the SEC has Arky and Vandy. But I think the B1G was better top to bottom. The middle was better, which in the past usually was where the SEC trumped them. They are reasonably close at the top.

The bottom of the BIG is pretty bad.

Had they gone Mizzou instead of Rutgers that would be a solid upgrade.

The Big 12 probably has the best bottom of the conference, but also one of the weakest tops of a conference

He has a losing record as an underdog on the road vs. ranked teams. He has a losing record vs. ranked teams. He's never won his division or conference. But Day has already won a division & conference crown.
