In case you didn't notice, the playoff is a fucking farce. Ohio State and Oklahomee were the sad representation of weak conferences. Half the SEC could beat either of you.

Of course, Clemson represents a sad conference as well. However, they have the big talent to be competitive on a good day with LSUx, maybe.

The B1G CLEARLY was the best conference this year. The whole “LSU ran the SEC gauntlet while Ohio State played a weak slate” is weak sauce.

I actually wouldn't necessarily agree about it "clearly" being the best, but it is very clear that the SEC and B1G were at the top, and the gap between them and the rest of the conferences was massive.

Yea definitely wouldn't say clearly but it's at least a conversation. Not to keep the what ifs going but change any play or two in that game and OSU is in the final. Not at all sure how that means they'd struggle with other teams with significantly fewer weapons not to mention they don't have a future top five pick at qb.

I think its hard to say one is better than the other this year. The SEC always has Bama as the "test" but I think the B1G had some tough teams as well this year.

The B1G does have Rutgers and Maryland, while the SEC has Arky and Vandy. But I think the B1G was better top to bottom. The middle was better, which in the past usually was where the SEC trumped them. They are reasonably close at the top.
