Garrett will get the Cowboys into the playoffs and he will be back next season.

But next year, that's really going to be the year Garrett is on the hot seat.

I've heard Lincoln Riley from OU

That would be an ugly thing to watch. Lincoln Riley would be bare assed and bleeding from every hole after a couple of years working for Fuhrer Jones.

I've heard him also. It will all depend on who jerrah wants

LOL, Riley isn't going pro.

Absolutely no upside. He'll make all the money he ever needs at OU.

He's got a young kid and he and his wife are young, themselves.

He's got one of the best jobs and bosses in CFB.

JJ is a fucking nut and I don't think Riley would do well with JJ.

i agree. i'm not sure why anyone would want to work for JJ at this point but you never know. The Cowboys are such a huge brand. sometimes ego overrides money.

I can't see Urban coaching in the NFL, let alone at a place where he knows he won't have that much control.

No one has control when Jerry Jones is around. For health reasons, Urban doesn't need to coach anymore. He's a pretty good analyst.

Half the Coaches in the NFL would rather be the Coach at Oklahoma.

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe he goes maybe he doesn't. But if the Cards will back up the trucks for Coach Bro he's gonna get some offers he has to listen to.

Whatever, I think bandwagon fans like you are fucking nuts, so there's that.

There is no upside besides money to going pro, sorry.

Guys at the elite schools make so much money now they don't consider the pros for just the coin they can make. They go because they've proved themselves at the highest level or are tired of the grind where their best players are always needing to be replaced. Lincoln Riley isn't even close to (a) needing the money (b) winning even his first National Championship or (c) being old enough that the recruiting thing is wearing on him. The other situation is when lightening strikes and a coach at a non-elite school (Texas Tech) gets a shot at the Big Time. Oklahoma hardly fits that category.
