God forbid these players should be allowed to work where they want...you know, like the rest of us.
If a team doesn't put the players around their star player to help them win titles, then with very few exceptions, they're going to leave.
Sometimes, they'll choose to leave even if they have a winning team around them. Guess what? That's their right.
Additionally, how are they throwing "their city" under the bus since the overwhelming majority of them aren't from the cities they play in?
Just because a player chooses to get involved and help out certain charitable organizations or visit schools in the city they play in, doesn't mean that it is "their city".
We all know that this is about your hate for Lebron and now Paul George (who wished injury on for having the audacity to leave your team) and that you actually blame Lebron for PG leaving.
That's what happens when you are a fan of a team that has to "trap" their superstars via the draft/trade. It does suck that all markets aren't created equal, especially if you're born and raised in one of those less fortunate markets, but it could be worse; your market could not have professional ball.
Of course, the idea of throwing your franchise/city under the bus is ridiculous, especially in the case of someone like Lebron, who has taken each of his franchises/stops to the finals repeatedly thus far (hoping that continues in LA).
Hurricane, would you rather these impending free agents NOT give these teams advance warning that they intend to leave via free agency? Leave that team empty-handed?
