I'd be shocked if they made that call this far out. I could imagine a team meeting where they said they needed to proceed like he might be out. But maybe Twitter guy has really good sources.
I have no idea. Twitter handle doesn't ring any bells. I don't know if they've called their shot in the past or not. One would assume that St. Nick has contingency plans in place or in the works...this is Saban we're talking about.I'd be shocked if they made that call this far out. That sounds logical.I hope the plan is establishing the run, ball control and dominating the line of scrimmage.

loss to LSU?Of he does. Play LSU without Tua (no guarantee they would win with him), if they lose, sit out the SEC Championship and get in the CFP 'cause Bama (oh look, Tua is back).
Pretty easy to figure out.
With the PAC having no undefeated teams, I’d say a 1 loss Alabama is pretty much a lock if Tua returns. Who goes in over them?
So who is the next man up?
It isn't that white guy I saw come in for Tua, is it.
A one loss Alabama is not getting in the CFP above an undefeated Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Clemson.
In that scenario, only chaos inside the SEC could help a one loss Alabama.
If Alabama loses to LSU, then by some fluke, LSU ends up losing two of their last remaining SEC west games, and Alabama wins the SEC west by back-dooring their way into the SECCG.
Then defeating the SEC east champ, whether it’s Florida or Georgia, in the SECCG.
Then, and only then, will a one loss Alabama perhaps get invited to the CFP.
It would be heavily debated between a one loss Oregon PAC 12 champ.

They could slide in but kinda like you said...there would have to be chaos and some teams losing. And if Tua isn't healthy that gives even more reason for the committee to not put Bama in...if it were between a healthy Clemson, Oklahoma or Ohio St team with healthy QB's a conference championship win than Bama won't be getting in.
Undefeated Clemson
Undefeated tOSU
Undefeated OU
