Tell me, is Garoppolo mediocre and will he win a SB?
He's the reason SF will not win a SB...

Can you imagine playing your first 6 games against teams with a combined 11-28 record? Would you believe you're the best team in your conference after starting off 6-0 vs that schedule? If you take those 6 losses out of the equation your opponents combined record is 11-22. You can only play the teams on your schedule, but it does appear that somebody's schedule is going to get just a little bit more difficult going forward. That starts this Sunday...just saying

Dak makes 2M this season. I think he deserves an extension and it's contracts like SF & Minnesota handed out that requires Dak to get a bigger contract. Market value is just that1. Yes, at this point.
2. No, not unless he can stop with the 3 or 4 huge misses per game he tends to make like clockwork.
3. The caveat is that a legendary defense could make up for either one of these guys (I'm talking 2002 Buccs, 2013 Seahawks, and obviously the '00 Ravens).
No defense is "legendary" in the NFL this year IMO, but the 49ers have got to have the most talent on that side of the ball.
It's called a prediction. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong. But if Dak signs an extension, that'll spell doom for the Cowboys' chances in the long term.

your opinion on Dallas is not rational. Your QB gets 27M, based on that, it should be at least 30MOf course he deserves more money. He's a starting QB in the league. But if it's like 30 million a year (or close), I would be pissed if I were a Cowboys' fan. And he's gonna get close to that IMO.
There's a little team out in New England who would like a word.

I said "talent," not the best defense. N.E. is clearly having the best 1st half of the year of any D.
You also said there's no legendary D this year. What the Pats are doing certainly is so far. Can they maintain? Who knows? But there's no way you can bet against a Pats team until Bill and Tom are gone.
nope...that is the market. One team going full R-word is a bad reason to justify giving Dak $30M a year, but this is Jerrah we're talking about.
which has nothing to do with what Dak will be paid. Dak salary will be higher than Jimmy G, which was the point.Jimmy G is overpaid unless he can turn things around in his first full year as a starter (this year). Like I said, he misses way too many easy throws to be anything more than a mediocre QB who would probably lose in the postseason if he doesn't improve significantly over the next 9 games.

You'd be pissed if Dak got 30M if you were a cowboys fan but willing to give your guy another 9 games in a league where he hasn't accomplished anywhere near what Dak has.
that isn't rational, that is a 9'ers homer/Dallas hater talking
A bunch of us filtered over from CBS message boards, years ago. 49er fans were BY FAR the most arrogant when they were winning.
Right now, the 49ers are the best team in the division, than the Seahawks, Rams and Cardinals.
