Not scary at all.

Both teams were trying to evaluate young players.

Literally neither team cared who won that game because it was preseason. Nothing less relevant in all of sports than an NBA preseason outcome.

Why are you shitting all over the Bucks quest for the pre-season championship? lol

I think the Jazz are this year’s Raptors.

They look very solid.

But their ceiling is not as high as the Clipper, Lakers or even the Sixers and Bucks.

If those teams fail to reach their full potential and/or have injury issues, Utah is good enough to raise the trophy.
Agree.

They needed to take the Ball out of Spida's hands.

He can get dimes.

But, he seems way more focused on getting buckets.

Conley is perfect for them.

Unselfish, has a decent shot and wants to be a playmaker.

Bogdonavic was such a underrated pickup too.

The Jazz could definitely sneak into the finals if the teams ahead of them fail to live up to expectations.

Denver could too.

Did you read my whole post?

The Raptors were very good.

But they only won because other, better teams like the Warriors faltered.

I don’t think the Jazz will win the championship. But if the more talented teams falter, they could be the best of what is left. You know, like the Raptors last year.

You should try thinking next time before you reply.

The Sixers were more of a challenge in the east tbh, than the Warriors

The Raptors always had a great core and added the best player in the NBA

The Jazz don't have that, or the best player lol...If the more talented teams falter they still wouldn't win

The Jazz only made it to the 1st round last year after the semi's the year before

You are the one who should try thinking before you post

If you want a real hot take of something with an actual possibility it's that the Pelicans will end up with a better record than the Lakers.

Just about as likely as the cavs making the playoffs...

THe Jazz added some really nice pieces.

But, the top of the West is damn strong. So they could easily be a 4 seed and lose first round. That said, I guarantee you that nobody will want to to see Utah in the playoffs.

And claiming the Sixers were a bigger threat threat to the Raptors than the Warriors is just ignorant.

Maybe they were a bigger threat than the KD less, Klay less team the Raptors played at the end of the series, but your bias against GS is getting funny.

Keep sleeping on them. Harden wants that MVP badly.

IMO there is a great shot they're the top seed in the West.

Do you think there will be any issue with Russ with respects to having to now clearly defer. There will be long stretches where he'll be just standing around while Harden iso's.

I agree that Harden wants the MVP award badly. So does Russ.

And that is the problem.

I am not sure either player is willing to make the sacrifices necessary for the Rockets to be a legitimate title threat.

Could they be a great regular season team though?

Yeah, I buy that.

Yeah that was basically my point. I have very little confidence in James Harden in May but regular season? IMO, they're a 55+ win team which should be good enough for a top 2 seed out West.

I need to see more of Russ/Harden together. Russ is the one who should take a backseat. Let's hope he understands that.

I would give Russ lots of time with Harden on the bench if possible.

Those 2 should never be on the bench at the same time if the Rockets are smart.
