He's very insecure, has a difficult time taking any sort of criticism. He's had a tough time with the truth previously in Seattle as well, toward the end. He was criticizing playcalling and was asked about it by a well known Seattle area media personality, and he snapped back with some business about ruining his career by having his media credentials revoked...but then later denied that it ever happened. He just flat out lied that it never happened because both his denial and the actual event were both recorded.
I was totally fine with his antics here when he was putting external actors in his crosshairs (Michael Crabtree, Skip Bayless, etc.), but it's a totally different deal when you're picking targets internal to the team. That's when it became a problem and was clearly time to move on from him. Unbelievable player though, and he'll be in the HOF as a Hawk no question.
Mayfield is real dewshy at times. But Ricky Sherman just looks for reasons to stay angry. Getting harder as he keeps getting richer and is always on a good team.
Looks like they did shake hands before. Why do you need to after too? LOL The way Sherman says it he stuck his hand out and Baker declined. Baker left the field right after the coin toss to get ready.
Sherman has been whiney for years. It was is just a ploy to get in players' heads. If this is the motivation you need go for it...kinda lame though.
