This game will come after the bye for the Fins and start a string of a couple of games that might be a little more winnable considering the small steps forwards they've taken the last couple of weeks - and adjustments they will make during the bye.

Watching this MNF matchup - I like what the Steelers are doing with Mason Rudolph and I think that the Dolphins need to take on a similar approach.

Start of with some short, easy throws - be methodical in what they ask Rosen to do, and things will open up from there.

Different teams, different systems, different QBs - but the approach can be the same and he will provide even better results.

I'm predicting the 1st Dolphins win.
The question is, do you really want to win?????

I don't usually respond to you cheatriots fans - but I will throw you a bone this one time --

For when are you predicting this 1st win?

Secondly, just about all of us Fins fans want the team to win despite realizing the current state of the team. There is only one poor low-life who is actually rooting for and happy with losing. Which, as I have said many times before, for a fan base that has been crying about losing for so long - it seems pretty stupid to be rooting to purposely lose.

But, as you well know - every fan base has their fair share of ignorant idiot fans who make the rest of the fan base look bad. The idiot who answered "nope" and one other clown in here thats been rooting for the team to lose are the examples here of those idiot fans for us.

I am not a fan of getting ahead of myself and making predictions because I am well aware that so many factors go into a game that determine wins and losses -- its not worth it.

But as I said after our loss to the Chargers - after the bye week will come a slate of very winnable games for the Fins. With the slight improvement they've shown in their performances over the last couple of weeks - the bye week comes at a good time for them to regroup and build on the few things they've done well - clean those things up, and they will pull off an upset or two before its said and done.

By the way, shutout to the Bengals, they seem just as poised and worthy/in need of that #1 overall pick.

They could use that Tua guy...

I said it after the game on Sunday, despite the loss - there was improvement from quite a few of our guys - here is the PT/snap count chart to help add some perspective, which some people clearly lack.

This staff has unleashed McMillian in the way that we expected when he was drafted.

The individual improvement from many individual players is there - it is a matter of more players putting it together at the same time and it will translate into better results for the team.

I know some people want to ignore the facts that signal the weekly improvement of the team(marginal as it may be), simply because it doesn't align with the baseless narrative they want to spew about the team and the direction of the organization.

Despite the losses, these minor improvements prior to the bye week are going to help the team in the long run. Now that the bad seeds on the team have been shipped out, these guys can now regroup during the bye -- seems Flores and the team are using the early days of the bye week to get some family time in before refocusing on football.

Keeping things in perspective is always the best path.

Here is another one for you, troll - if the Dolphins do get the #1 pick and decide to WASTE on Tua and they realize he is not the long-term answer as a QB - be prepared for a true tanking in preparation for the following draft. For someone that is rooting for losses I am sure you would be okay with that.

1st - fins beat skins
2nd - disagreeing with you makes him look enlightened

Save y'all some time. Skip to the 17:20 mark. Only about a 5 minute clip.

I am down for drafting that midget to play RB/H-back for us

Good one.

I’ll be sure to ignore the scouting reports from college scouts, draft analysts and HOF QBs. Thanks.

Considering those guys often get it wrong it is probably a good idea.

Steelers down to their third QB - Jets still have Adam Gase as their coach.

Fins Up!

You know the fins could actually win 2 or 3 games. Their are other QB's instead of Tua for 2020 draft. I think the big get is in 2021, Lawrence.

So, the Redskins have fired Jay Gruden six days before they face our beloved Miami Dolphins.

It is going to be quite a battle of winless teams. A good shot for the Fins to get that first win and avoid the #1 pick.

I, as well a few others in here - save for 1 idiot in here, is well aware the Fins can win 2-3 games this season, if not as soon as this upcoming stretch -- I have said it before.

As you mentioned, there are other QB options in the 2020 draft. Not to mention those QBs would be better options and fits for the Dolphins. That being said, I think Rosen can be the QB of the future for the Fins - the team just needs to stabilize their OL situation to help him. As far as the OL, we have some guys to work with - its just a matter of them coming together.

As for Lawrence, I would certainly be all for him as our draft pick. Lawrence has the better arm and size - he is about as close to the prototypical QB as there will be in the next draft -- if he isn't that already.

This coming draft has much better options than Tua at QB, thats obvious.

All that being said, I am quite shocked that you seem to think the Fins could win 2-3 games considering I thought you were on the "Tank for Tua" train wreck yourself.

Anyhow, reading all the fallout after Gruden getting fired from the Redskins, that is a fractured team. This week is as good as any to celebrate our first win of the season.

I don't think I ever supported tank for Tua. Have mentioned my concern that I don't think he well be a Franchise type QB in the league. He may a good/serviceable, but you need to get more than that for a top number draft pick. Hurts, Herbert or Fromm are also QB that can be considered if Fins went to draft QB in 2020. My concern is they better not miss on this pick, they have a history of making bad draft decisions.
