I don't think I ever supported tank for Tua. Have mentioned my concern that I don't think he well be a Franchise type QB in the league. He may a good/serviceable, but you need to get more than that for a top number draft pick. Hurts, Herbert or Fromm are also QB that can be considered if Fins went to draft QB in 2020. My concern is they better not miss on this pick, they have a history of making bad draft decisions.

For me, Lawrence and Fromm would top the list of QBs for the Fins to go for if they decided to go that route. Though I think if they surround Rosen with the right weapons and protection, he can be successful.

But - like I said, Lawrence and Fromm would be right up there.

As far as Hurts and Herbert, I think of them in the same way as Tua - their success is more due to playing in systems that best suit their skill set. I think Fromm and Lawrence are further ahead in their development in being able to run a true pro-style offense. And, as I have said since Flores and his staff were put together, based on their offensive/overall team philosophy, I think guys like Lawrence and Fromm would be better fits.

I understand coaches need to be able to adjust to their players - but - the players MUST be able to do the same. Coaches cant keep holding these young guys coming out of college by the hand and changing their coaching/team philosophy for one player.

In Redskins news(this weeks opponent in the battle to get their first wins), interim coach and, assistant HC, OL coach, Bill Callahan, has said that they are deciding on whether McCoy or Keenum will start for them this week. Both are coming off injuries that are being monitored before a decision is made.

As far as Haskins goes, Callahan has said there will be a package of plays for him - but is far from being considered the starter.

We need no clearer proof that" tanking" for 1st round picks, or even obtaining it outright - is the solution to a teams problem than the Cleveland Browns.

Whether its been guys who have busted out of the league due to off/on-field stuff -- or simply being busting out of the league for being bad - they are ultimate proof. They keep landing these chances at getting top guy - yet remain stuck in mediocrity.

As this post says, "there is no perfect formula". "Tanking" is certainly not the right or most effective formula, either.

You can "hit" on as many draft picks as you want -- it doesn't always give you the ultimate results.

More losing is certainly not the answer to your current state of losing.

Brian Flores has come out saying that Rosen will be the QB for the remainder of the season unless there is an injury. He did say that lineup changes elsewhere are being considered.

Looks like Keenum will be the guy for the Redskins this weekend. And, with Callahan now as the interim HC and Keenum coming off an injury - the expectation is for the Redskins to commit to the run more for this game.

Hopefully the Dolphins have worked on heir tackling during the bye week -- our first win is not far behind. The road to 12-4 begins this week!

Pretty extensive injury list for Miami coming off a bye week. Will be interesting to see who actually plays this weekend...

This is the official injury list. Yes, it is extensive. But, I think we should all have a pretty good idea of who will be good to go and he won't be, based of how some of these guys have progressed with these injuries in recent days and weeks.

I don't think we should make too much out of the amount of guys who are listed as questionable - even if their last designation in practice was "limited". A lot of times guys are purposely limited in practice just for precautionary reason. I would not make much of it.

Now, if the team goes on a signing spree between now and all day tomorrow to replace guys - there may be something to it -- otherwise, the road to our first win and our journey towards a 12-4 finish is off and running.

Again, someone out there will take that last part a little too seriously.

Bad blocking on third down turns into a sack and a 3-and-out for the Fins

2 great defensive drives by the Fins D - doing good job so far of bringing the pressure and staying disciplined.

Next offensive drive - the Dolphins need to commit to the run more. Pass blocking an issue early on - getting pass happy is not going to help the cause.

Started off with a nice run - bad pass blocking again dooms the drive.

But the Fins run a fake punt direct snap and get the first down!
