God that bottom photo just looks cold. Like nothingness of cold. How in the world does Minneapolis have a NBA, NFL and MLB team!?

Will the home crowd be enough to help push the Golden Gophers to 6 - 0?

It's actually on campus. In the background are Williams Arnea, and also Mariucci Arena. Not sure tbh, but it might have been built in the industrial part of town.
Nebraska fumbled it 4 times @ Illinois
Nebraska had 10 penalties for 70 yds to Illinois 4 penalties for 30 yds.
Nebraska had 674 total yards to Illinois 299.
.
Shortly after that game we fired our DC and defense responded very well after that.
The key take away Nebraska Won. It may have been ugly as sin and we may have had 400 more yards than the opposing team who only lost by 4 points, the fact is we won. 700 yards to 300 typically screams a far different story than what our self inflicted wounded ass ended up with...and yet Nebraska barely won....

We have snow forecast for friday high of 41 low of 31 or something if i remember
The numbers don't really support that........
Minnesota 2018
28.5 PPG in the 7 games before
24.1 PPG in the 6 games after
2019 Scoring Defense is 68th at 27.2 PPG through 5 games.
21 pts to FCS South Dakota St
35 pts @ Fresno St (2 OT)....64th in Scoring Offense at 30.5 PPG.
32 pts to Ga. Southern.......109th in Scoring Offense at 21 PPG.
31 pts to Purdue...............93rd in Scoring Offense at 24.8 PPG
17 pts to Illinois...............57th in Scoring Offense at 31.8 PPG
Illinois is the only team that Minnesota has held below their scoring average.

We'll see.
We fired Rob Smith after the illinois debacle last year. After he was fired
Purdue: 10 points (7 late in game long after game was decided)
NW: 24-We gave them few short fields
Wisconsin: 15 (8 came in closing seconds while we were in prevent)
Georgia Tech: 10
PPG post Rob Smith in 2018: 14.75
2019
SDSU- Defense started out a bit shaky. No argument here
FS-This game went into double OT inflating points. This was a game we shot ourselves in foot over and over. Including stupid penalties on third down extending drives they scored, and a big fumble on a punt return because they didn't get out of the way.
GS-They had 14 yards of offense in 2nd half and 12 points. They returned 2 fumbles for TD's. They also got 7 points just before half when we failed on 4th and short on our side of the field. It also appears they fumbled the ball and it should've been our ball and no points, but oh well. Defense played much better than points indicate
Purdue-They got 2 late TD's, one after recovering an onside. Defense was a little inconsistent, agreed
Illinois-They scored 14 of their 17 points on Turnovers. Sure, we screwed up, but those aren't on defense
So what you're really saying is, that out offense is so good, we score for both teams....
Seriously though.... they need to protect the ball better.
Agreed, they're playing with fire with all these mistakes
It will burn them if they don't clean them up
Of Morgans 8 incomplete's on saturday, 6 were drops. Maddening
They broke that ice @ Illinois.
.
The Gophers are a run first team so bad weather plays into their favor imo.Bad weather will really make this game interesting . Neither team is very disciplined and both are prone to turnovers even in good conditions . Bad weather could really impact this one more than a normal game
I’m shocked that seats only 50,000. It looks much larger

Eh?
