God that bottom photo just looks cold. Like nothingness of cold. How in the world does Minneapolis have a NBA, NFL and MLB team!?

They also have an NHL team but why worry about accuracy when trying to talk shit

Nebraska is (5-3) against Minnesota since joining the Big 10.

The Huskers are (2-2) @ Minnesota and (3-1) in Lincoln.

Mike Riley even beat Minnesota twice. Once in Lincoln and once in Minnie.

Nebraska broke their (0-6) losing streak last season at Minnesota, winning 53-28 and giving Scott Frost his first win as a Husker HC.

I hope we win, but I it'll be tough and we haven't exactly been a good road team. Starting Vedral may be a good thing though, if it happens.

Nebraska hasn't been a good home team either.
After 6 games, it's time to play a good one. Huskers have a bye week after, so there's no reason to focus on anything other than a very average Minnesota.

Will the home crowd be enough to help push the Golden Gophers to 6 - 0?

I agree, but the difference is that we are yet to win a road game under Frost.

Pre-season I felt really good about beating Minnesota... but I felt pretty good about a lot of games lol. My how a month can change things.

I imagine Minnesota being similar to UW/Seattle. Although big city, the college part is like its own district/community, very separate from the city

Yes/No. The U of M campus is very spread out and covers both Minneapolis and St. Paul. St. Paul hoses agricultural and vet schools. US Bank stadium and downtown is just short train ride away from campus. We lack in college atmospher compared to B1G cohorts. Gophers don't get much attention here locally, it's all vikings, twins, wild....and occasionally t'wolves

Shortly after that game we fired our DC and defense responded very well after that.

Illinois got 14 points off our QB turning it over. They actually missed the FG badly, but we called a late TO to try and ice kicker and he nailed next attempt.

In Seattle that's a good thing. The UofW district in itself is undeniably one of the best places to be in the world if cost is not an object. 6 blocks outside of it you got a shit storm of misery and garbage.
Sounds like Baylor but right across the street instead of a 6 block buffer zone. :pound:

Yes, both teams have shown ability for shooting themselves in the foot

I liked what i saw out of Vedral, Martinez looks afraid of contact, like maybe he is injured and trying not to get hurt more (before saturdays boo boo) I dont like the way AM has run the offense this year at all. Vedral looked poised and ready to put it all on the field and break his body for the team. I think he did well. Not sure on other injuries/disciplinary action but Washington, Spielman we need back. For the love of everything good in this world we need our center (converted TE or wtf ever) to actually snap the ball properly he too plays scared not sure what the deal is if they are overthinking it or what.

Not sure how good minny is this year i dont feel good about the game though.
