IMO....these ranger fans sure fuck up a sports discussion. Thankfully it's only game threads they dazzle us with their sports brilliance. always the same doom and gloom, post after post

Game threads are for posting in the heat of the moment and when things go as poorly as they did for most of 2 1/2 quarters today, I fully expect people to get up in arms about it. I don’t think that everything that is said is how people may feel after the game or mid-week the next week but in the heat of the battle people get frustrated. People should certainly take anything I say in a game thread with a grain of salt. When there are lots of positives I like to think that I post about those when I see them also but that just wasn’t the case, most of the day today. Either way I will always be a die hard Cowboy fan, that hopes they win on every play and win every game. This game could have been won with better execution and I think that is what is most frustrating. That and it didn’t seem like the team was ready to play at home against the Packers after a frustrating loss to the Saints the week before. Got down pretty quick in the 1st quarter but I think the way they came out of the gate running the football that they should have run a bit more and not have Dak throwing quite as often. On to next week and look forward to better play on the field and for the injured guys to get healthy.

Not sure what to think after that one. It seems like I have watched that same game so many times over the past 20 years. The momentum was definitely rolling with us at the end. Just too many fuck ups by both teams. Stupid penalties and injuries. 33 killed us all day. My son asked me who had a good game on D. I really couldn’t think of one player. Does Tank even play?? I never hear his name mentioned. 560 yards on offense. Allowed 330ish. We definitely left a lot of points out there. GB made some big plays and fucked up a few less times than we did.
Not sure. Covington? :noidea:

good post Bmurph...you were always one of the few ranger board posters I liked. I've been a ranger & cowboy fan for a long ass time but I couldn't bare the posters on the ranger board brother in law shit and how they ganged up on an opinion that differed from theirs. Seeing the negative stuff here in game threads reminds me why I never post on that board

There are a few that can get carried away with their frustration with certain things. I have always been one to try and keep an open mind to others opinions but sometimes people try to cram stuff down people's throats or are very short-sighted. I have grown frustrated with a few posters and the constant bad mouthing of certain players, so I have limited my posting there.

On the topic of game threads, I certainly think I post my frustration in the moment, much more than most but at the end of the day, I just want to win another SB. It has been way too long. I see all the talent this team has and when they play as poorly as they did for most of the day, today. It frustrates the piss out of me and I will bitch about it. I just have to step away and re-set after it's over. I don't think anyone wants their team to lose ever and some are just more negative but they are still Cowboys or Rangers fans and at least they aren't Redskins or Eagles fans

As much as that game pissed me off, Dallas had over 500 yards of offense. You can say garbage time all you want. I saw Dallas moving the ball all game. GB had no answer for Amari Cooper from the jump. Lot of bad luck and fluke contributed to Dallas not scoring in the first half. Dak averaged over 10 yards per pass. This offense can be truly special if it stops fucking itself. I seriously think this offense is capable of 30 to 40 points every week if they stay reasonably healthy and execute better. The defense has a lot of catching up to do though. GB had one weapon and they couldn't stop him. You can't let Aaron Jones beat you. You had to make Rodgers other weapons beat you. Inexcusable gameplan by the D.

Without Davante Adams you had to be able to stop the run and they couldn't even come close, even when they knew GB was running the ball. They gouged the Boys up the middle just like the Rams did in the playoff game. Very poor defensive plan and execution

Dak was terrible. That's not being a hater, I love the kid and I'm glad we have him, but he played like shit today. He's gonna get better. The defense played terrible. We need better DT's and better safety play. OL needs to get healthy. Need to rebound vs the Jets and ready for the biggest game of the year to date vs the Eagles

Defense is far behind the offense at this point.
