Better root for the dodgers at this point.

I’m hoping the Astros get the A’s in the first round. They have struggled with Oakland over the second half of the season.

A’s would have to beat either Cleveland or TB in a winner take all playoff game.

Then, presumably, the Astros would face the wild card team in a 5 game series.

The Yankees are the walking wounded so I’m betting on the Astros to end up with the best record. It sucks that the Astros seem to get all the breaks.

Home field throughout all of the playoffs wasn’t an option for us when we were trying to compete. Even tho our record was better than both the giants and the cardinals.

Odor had the look like he wanted to pop Hernandez after low strike. Got called on a high strike on earlier AB. He is as fed up and the chased finally on low pitch as the zone as whack and inconsistent with some Astros getting royal treatment.

People on here always disagree, but I think the Astros winning hurts our rebuild by keeping their window open even longer.

For instance, we might be looking at a situation where if the Astros win the World Series some guys on that team will be more inclined to stay. Lots of people assume Cole will leave after the year and get every dollar he can, but a World Series title helps the Astros keep him. An Astro extension with Cole is our worst nightmare. We need that rotation to get weaker.
