In fact, I just posted a link that suggests he’s been paying this person off for quite some time. That would suggest this stuff is true.

The timing and why go public NOW is the real question. It’s possible that she just wanted more money and he said no. There could be other motives.

Yeah, it could have been consensual and he broke it off and she hates him. Or she could hate him because he raped her. Either way it seems like AB has a good lawyer. That story about the failed business investment is so convoluted it almost made me forget about the r*pe allegations.

That’s what I don’t get... if she’s been extorting/receiving money from AB what lawyer in their right mind would file a lawsuit?!? She could be in big trouble criminally. While brown could be as well it’s actually easier to prove extortion than a r*pe/sexual assault that occurred years ago

We'll see, I'm not so sure yet.

However, this situation does give Kraft/BB a relatively pain-free way of undoing some of the bad PR with the signing.. especially in light of them already humiliating the Steelers without him playing.

I don't think Kraft/BB really want/wanted AB on the team to begin with, they just wanted to keep him away from a different contender.

But now that this lawsuit is out - despite a chance of it being based on phony claims - it could create league-wide collusion not to sign him going forward.
