So much win in this entire situation, but if I may deconstruct one salient point:

The NFL is nothing without its fans. I'm sure their position on this would be that, if a kid comes up to you, even from another team, rocking their gear, eck settra, and asks for an autograph, then go ahead and give them the autograph.

Instead, he's now a part of a video that possibly has been spread far across the internet where knee-jerkers will condescendingly reprove his boorish mannerisms, and threaten to burn yet more NFL merch.

If you play the game, you're an ambassador for the LEAGUE, not just your particular team. If you do shit that might possibly reflect poorly on the league, they will come down on you somehow. May not be a fine, but I'm guessing he's gotten a phone call already.

Sorry, but the fans aren't ENTITLED to jack or shit. You pay your money to see them or wear their gear, that's on you. If you think showing up or wearing gear means anyone should stop and give you the time of day, you need to get your head checked. Fuck that kid, he's old enough to know better than to roll into the competitions house and expect special attention. Tank wasn't signing anything for anyone.

It could be worse, it could have been someone like perhaps me and my wife and kid walking out of Yankee stadium last year and being followed by a couple of jabroni's telling me I was "disrespecting" them because I had a Rangers cap on. I just ignored them and kept walking as they followed us to the train.

If you go anywhere dressed in anther teams jersey and expect a player not from that team to stop and give you an autograph then you are just an entitled asshat. The sooner this kid learns it, or learns that is mom is more interested in a viral video than her sons well-being, the better.

Kids I believe are a different reality, but I don't know what you do for a living but suppose someone repping your competition showed up as you were walking out of your office and wanted to chat about something, or pick your brain. Would you want to stop and give him the time of day? Or would you be wanting to get the F out of there and go enjoy your evening?
